Incorrect tagging[edit]

Sorry, I made an error when I was comparing the GuildWiki and Guild Wars Wiki versions. I thought Curse You's note was the map viewing note, but it was actually the geographical location note, which doesn't exist in this version. -- Gordon Ecker 22:17, 22 February 2007 (EST)

Chapter Four?[edit]

I'm reluctant to change Chapter Four to Chapter 4 (which redirects to EotN) because I don't know if the alpha emails in question refer to EotN or if the 4th campaign in question was "scrapped" in favour of EotN and thus is actually something different. However, I will change it if there are no objections. Eerie Moss 09:59, 15 May 2007 (EDT)

By the time the alpha invites were sent out, Utopia had been scrapped in favour of Eye of the North. Although, given the amount of work that would be required to produce so much content on such a short notice, it's likely that the former was adapted into the latter. --Santax (talk · contribs) 15:13, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

IMPORTANT QUESTION[edit]

Does anyone know where this arena can be found? It says in the description that the arena still exists within the game and is "blocked by rocks", but where can those rocks be found? I have looked almost everywhere in Vabbi. Could someone who knows this please respond ASAP? I must know this ... for research purposes. --Gelbrekt (talk) 08:11, 12 February 2016 (UTC)

Based on File:VabbiArenaMap.jpg and Vabbi/Map (File:Vabbi map clean.jpg), the arena is the northernmost point in Vabbi, north of Holdings of Chokhin. --Silver Edge 08:54, 12 February 2016 (UTC)

Current status of this place, 2021 (updated: 2023)[edit]

I've been trying for some months to find screenshots of the interior of this place and scratching I found 7 (in bad quality) plus some information, but I'm sure there are more out there. The problem is that the people who owned those screenshots no longer play, and although I have managed to add them in the friend list, I have never seen them online. I also tried to enter using GWToolbox using the /tp 365 command (because the ID Map of this place is the number 365) but of course the outpost is locked if you are not GM or Developer. I read in the unofficial wiki (link) that the user Tallinn (18:14, 27 August 2007) said that there were no rocks blocking the way when he entered, but as far as I know this place was only accessible via Random Arenas' rotation, a teleport system was never implemented nor was there any NPC that allowed you to enter, so his quote "(...) rocks blocking the way (...)" makes no sense because I have explored the entire map using the /camera unlock command of GWToolbox, and nothing indicates that there was a way to enter that place except through Random Arenas, so I think he was trolling. The river of Vabbi connects to the place in lore terms, but nothing else. If this was intended to be officially implemented beyond Random Arenas, this marking that I have done is the only way that I can think could happen: https://i.imgur.com/7UnJYKt.png (but I still belive that the thing regarding the rocks and enter walking like Tallinn says is pure bs). I know there are many other documented maps of dev testing, but I was interested particulary in this one only due The Madness of Prophecy mission dialogue since my hobby is archeology, either in real life or video games, so I wanted to see how was designed since Nightfall is my favorite game regarding environment with all the Persian, Arabian, Egyptian culture which is based of. Regarding the 7 screenshots that I found scratching internet, I don't know if I'm allowed to upload them all here in the article page itself, since this is a wiki and not a photobook, so I leave the album link instead: https://ibb.co/album/Fbr8nC

Anyway, please, if someone can contribute with more screenshots or bringing some light in the thing related to the rocks blocking the way, it would be good to document how this place was like. — Scribeton (talk) 11:09, 24 February 2021 (UTC)

Well, after having done this Batman-worthy investigation, I think I have managed to compile all the information that was still possible to obtain, knowing that many pages have been deleted and there was no way to even access them through the Wayback Machine, and none of the players that I added in my friend list returned to the game to be able to talk to them. Since I don't own a DeLorean nor do I know John Titor, I guess this is the maximum we can stretch the gum. As of September 11, 2023, this is the largest update this article will receive (unless something extraordinary happens). Scribeton (talk) 07:30, 11 September 2023 (UTC)
nice update. From what I can see here that is pretty much all there is to be said. Justice (talk) 17:51, 11 September 2023 (UTC)
