Awesome[edit]

I like it! Absolutely awesome idea! Tong2 08:42, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

I think they should be this big all the time... :| Arshay Duskbrow 09:31, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
Boo! Explorable should keep it!... - Stimpson J Kat 19:06, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
Agreed, it would've been epic to fight normal-sized foes and be taking down (proportionately) giant enemies while mini-sized! ^_^ Someone in GToB suggested that perhaps a "mini-me" disguise might be made available for 5th anniversary? Cool idea, but who knows if it might happen. Still, they obviously already have the required code in place.... --66.116.33.57 22:10, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
There's been talk of a Mini-Me minipet... I wouldn't doubt if Anet's gonna use this as a "You got your Mini-me" - Stimpson J Kat 01:14, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Size differences in classes/body scale[edit]

I'm not sure if it's by original body scale or by general class/gender, but my female warrior was bigger than most monks I saw, esp. female ones. It is HARD to see people and make out serious details when they're mini-sized. Lady Chani 08:35, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

Yeah we were discussing that, not sure what's going on with it, but there seem to be differences from the normal size of characters, i.e. I was standing by a derv pre update, and then checked my size compared to the derv post update, and the differences weren't corresponding. -- Tha Reckoning 08:37, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) Yes I wrote that at first, but then when I saw a male monk reaching up to my ele's waist I knew it must have been wrong >< Trying to get an image of the Destroyer minipet comparison (it's huge!) ~Celestia 08:39, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
If that's the case, it just may be by class in general, going off the average sizes and making them exceedingly silly? (seriously, a monk only to your waist? O_O) Lady Chani 08:43, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
Well it seems the size is dependent on the profession's body scale. For instance, I create a pre Mesmer at the tallest height and she reaches just above the second brick on the signpost. A mesmer with the shortest allowed height measures only just above the first brick on the same signpost. A female monk of the smallest height is considerably below the first brick's top. Hmm... ~Celestia 08:50, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
That's what I get for using D&D terms on the wiki. :P I meant profession, I just usually call it class when I talk since it's what I'm used to, and it carried over into my writing.
Anyway, vocabulary discrepancies aside, it sounds like you're saying there's a base size for each profession, and original body size scales within that? Lady Chani 09:04, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
Oh, I wasn't correcting your "class" I was just bolding to emphasise that it seems to be dependent on the profession's body scale (tall ele vs small ele = difference) but trying to get some information of the difference between professions (short ele vs short monk, etc). My initial comment (on the article) was because I though that the size difference between the regular sized character was used as the change... Gah, confusing myself now...but yes, it seems to be what you said in a lot less words "there's a base size for each profession, and original body size scales within that" ~Celestia 09:14, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
Oh goodness. I should learn to not assume. In the mean time, quite awesome on discovering the true means of the sizechange. ^^ Lady Chani 09:17, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
When i logged on i thought it was a graphics error...Then was like ok april fools...then realized that they made us the minipets! Looked here and saw the destroyer mini with a monk in comparison, couldnt even see the monk and thought i needed to expand the pic to show them...no they are just that tiny! Justice 09:44, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
Finally had time to do the profession comparison, which you can find here (pretty large image). I've used your wording Lady Chani to explain the size :P ~Celestia 01:39, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
"Yes, officer, I'm sure suspect #3 was the one that mugged me." lol looks like a police lineup. Great job, Celestia. Wow, I pulled out my female monk and she was just a speck on the screen. Zoomed all the way out, and I couldn't see her at all!218.40.186.68 03:08, 2 April 2010 (UTC)Ryoko

some out proportion[edit]

Some of the mini pets are too big, black moa chick shouldn't be taller than siege turtle for example. Ramei Arashi 10:10, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

Do we also run faster?[edit]

Feels like we can run faster as well. Previously Unsigned 10:55, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

Ps would this also be a good time to get better screenshots of enemies? Seeing as they are not hostile now and roaming everywhere (ignore scale). Previously Unsigned 10:56, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
Also seems like # of enlarged minis is dependent on population in that area. Previously Unsigned 11:01, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
In regards to screens, I noticed some minipets do not appear as they would normally in the "wild". For instance, the Gray Giant and Hydra looks skinnier...but it just could be me. ~Celestia 11:35, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
Actual movement speed didn't change. We move at the same speed, but since we are smaller, we look faster. Same with miniatures. Take out one, and run away frm it. It will walk slow for a second, and then run normally. When they were small, they would run proportionally fast. 83.32.84.122 13:21, 1 April 2010 (UTC) Aw. This was me. dye[edit]

i wanted to dye my character and then i saw that you are also tiny on that screen it's funny but you wont get a good pic of the dye --The preceding unsigned comment was added by The aztec 1 (talk).

Aion emote and collector's edition glow[edit]

Contra to the page, the Aion emote is sized down so that the wings are proportionate. Also, the Prophecies collector's edition glow completely envelopes the character now. Funny! AlianaStoneskye 15:50, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

Okay will change the page to reflect the Aion emote. I assume the aura originate from the shrunken hands, but are still the same size? ~Celestia 01:16, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Did No one notice?[edit]

Uh yeah, did no one else notice the "Guild Wars Wiki will be down forever this Thursday, April 1, from approximately 5:00am to 7:00am PDT (12:00 to 14:00 UTC)." message? I'm just going to take a wild guess and say this is part of april fools. Maybe add it as a side note or something? --Darkness Prevails 05:24, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

I noticed, but it would have likely been more a wiki-joke than an Anet joke. Lady Chani 05:31, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
There are at least 2 other wiki April Fools' jokes, see Feedback talk:Emily Diehl#I see what you did there. --Silver Edge 06:43, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
You know... I am bloody slow. I only just noticed those ones not log ago. Still amusing though! Lady Chani 06:45, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

NPC size[edit]

Did anyone notice that NPCs were a bit smaller than usual too? I asked on twitter and got a positive answer : http://twitter.com/guildwars/statuses/11455625618 Zahra 17:59, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
