Talk:Ascalon Academy (explorable area)
From Guild Wars Wiki
So how do I format this one? It's a bit of an exception, being it is mainly intended to be the setting for the cinematics of the searing. Backsword 08:32, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Still it is the first mission it should have links to elswhere and have links to it in the wiki? Maybe even a mission 1 page that leads to this or to the PvP that precedes this?Trying
Shouldn't we delete the part about capping barrage? because you don't have a signet of capture before this point.Rhydeble 13:20, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- True. The person who edited that comment in, removed the presence of the spell from the boss. I was out looking for the correct way to format the spell when it was removed. LeFick 13:32, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- Having looked at several pages, not showing any spell seems to be the proper format.LeFick 13:35, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Candidate for Deletion
Is Ascalon Academy really an explorable area? All the other 'explorable areas' that you can only enter through missions in prophecies have been deleted, and unless there's some other way to access this place without going through the mission it really should be deleted as well. Silavor

I would personaly delete one...is just repeat information. However i would note that its still different from a mission, if your team wipes (and even if rurik dies) you will be resserected and may continue. --Justice 01:20, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- This article appears to have been created as a way to merge both, the Ascalon Academy pve mission and the Ascalon Academy pvp skirmish. Let's remember that the Ascalon Academy is a particular case of a mission split in two, both with the same basic name, and where a portion of it can be skipped without player intervention (but that also, when not skipped, is only accessible after finishing the first part). As such, it may be worth keeping an article explaining how the mechanics for this work, while having the other two articles deal with the particulars of each portion of the mission.--Fighterdoken 01:37, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, this seems to have been created due to an automatic redlink from a template. Backsword 10:07, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
