- Well, not strictly opinion. There's also general aesthetics applied. The obsidian armor, for its price, simply doesn't look interesting enough or stick out enough on an assassin. Maybe a good dye combination could cure this somewhat. Pretensciousboy 02:25, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

- I agree, i would have though it was starter armour without looking at wiki, because its just so bland and unimaginative. - Best assassin armor ever. Not flashy, no strange blades in a tangle sticking out of my arms like Kurzick 1k and 15k, both nightfall sets, Exotic 1k and 15k, and Imperial 1k and 15k, all of which look the same to me. Dye it black and it blends in with dark area's really well. It's not unimaginative, its slightly realistic, and as for the vast majority of Guild Wars players... they can wear what they want, I really don't care what they think about how my pixels look.

- Unimaginative. dull. and ugly. this armor looks like the short bus kids decided to glue knives to their 1peice sets of PJ's. i realize some people look for "realism" in an armor set but good lord. you CANT mean this?! its ghastly! and why is it that 9/10 assassins i see wearing this are absolute jerk-offs? does getting an expensive armor set alter your mental state so that your a dick? or is it a pre-requisite to deal with other dicks who mercilessly slaughter ecto prices by farming? good greif! how much UGLIER can an armor set be? and why would you dye it black!?!?! what the hell are you?! mister game and @#%$ing watch!? its the 20th century. stop being a stick figure and put some imagination in your char. jeez. and btw yes i do run an assassin. CRIT HARDER!!!
