lol odd set of title names there... ~ Reaper 16:43, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

I bet that the max level will be "Not too Bad for a Bookah" it would fit in so perfectly. :) --Alien User Alien Sig.png 18:19, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
I might be wrong, but aren't they the names of the dwarves in Snow White? Jas0n 18:42, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
Dopey and Grumpy are, but the others aren't - as of up to rank 6 that have been discovered. -- AshleyS (talkcontribs) 21:08, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

farm asura points[edit]

any1 kno a fast way to farm them? --Hellbringer 20:50, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Farming Magus Stones seems to do pretty well for me. I average 3-4k each run, if I get my hunt rank up early. --Anorion 19:29, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

What do you think is the FASTEST way to form asuran points?Cause I'm maxed Norn but I don't find no good way to farm asuran points The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.11.212.153 (talk • contribs) 00:55, 5 March 2008 (UTC).

I find it rather ironic that you're asking a question right below an answer to your question. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 00:46, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
The easiest and quickest way to get up to rank 8 of any of the EOTN titles is to do Hero Handbooks. Three of four full handbooks will get you above rank 8. After that then Hard-Mode point farming is probably the best.- TheRave User TheRave sig.jpg 17:21, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
I'm Necroing this, I know, but I just figured that vanquishing Sparkfly Swamp + Finding Gadd quest adds 3 more bosses to the area. It's not that easy to vanq I guess, ceratadons and tyrannuses aren't cool on HM, but still, isn't that a nice bonus? Or just not enough to be worth mentioning? -- Marvellanius 10:47, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

Me and a friend were able to get 15k out of Magus Stones from 50 kills to 385 had rampage the entire time. March 30,12 -KrisV

Kind of disappointing max title[edit]

"Not Too Weak" isn't as striking as "Slayer of Immortals". --Heelz 03:22, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

i agree i was hoping for "not bad for a bookah" XD --Tenshi Strife 04:45, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
Seconded! Anet! Please change! ~ Zero rogue x 07:48, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
"Not bad for a bookah" lol! Yes, that'd be awesome! Alaris 14:30, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
omg lol at least switch the last two titles so "Not too crazy" is max title xD that's awesome! --Lou-SaydusUser Lou-Saydus Hail Storm.jpg 05:51, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
I've come to think the Asura draw their strength from their mind; therefore the title "Not Too Weak" may allude to the "Not Too Weak Minded". ※OhYo 07:30, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

Max title confirmed?[edit]

Can anyone confirm whether 10 is the max title, and if it adds to the Kind of a Big Deal title track? Thx. Alaris 18:19, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure it will add to the Kind of a Bid Deal title track as it is a title...just like every other title in the game... [~ Reaper ~] 23:34, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
A name for r10 has been added again, yet I'm still fairly sure nobody can achieve r9 at this point. Where did this info come from? I would like to see some sort of confirmation. Zophar 10:33, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
it is now, i just got r9 and updated the info, when i hit r10 ill see if there is anything else to update. --Tenshi Strife 21:52, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Max Title Uncomfirmed[edit]

How do we know what rank ten is since after rank 8 you can only attain points in HM and there is no HM in GW:EN yet! --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:WillCurrie .

Technically, I think you could still gain points from repeatable quests and turning in the Hero and Master Dungeon guides. Although it would take a very long time, I have no doubt someone out there is trying to do just that. --Thervold 21:53, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
I haven't been able to get any more points from repeatable quests after I hit r8 Norn and Dwarf. I'm not sure whether the guides still give points, but I'll try to find out.Zophar 12:42, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
I completed my second Dungeon guide today and tried getting points for the titles I already had at r8. The NPC's would not give me the option to hand them in. So no way to get to r9 then till we get HM :( Zophar 16:00, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Case Studies[edit]

It's always nice to know how much effort is needed to get to what rank, much like was done with the Survivor title. I'll start. I got to R3 by doing the main quests & missions in the Asura storyline, and picking up bounties on the way. I did very little Polymock and side-quests. Alaris 21:13, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Good luck :D I tend to have trouble keeping off those bounties whenever I enter an explorable area. I'm always like, "Ooo... 15 kills, I'll go kill a couple more to get a bit more bonus... then it was ... 35 kills... drats, I'll go up to 50... " and so on... :P -- ab.er.rant sig 06:08, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
The point here is not to all stick to a method of reputation point collection. The point is to gather data on how much effort (and of what kind) is needed to get to a given level. So if you usually get to 50 kills whenever you enter an area, just say so, and some pointer of how much you did that and what rank you are at now. We'll figure out the details later, but at least someone who is like you can get an idea of how long it'll take. Alaris 16:44, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

Rank affecting how they greet[edit]

Not sure if anyone has noticed it... it doesn't seem to be noted (nor discussed on any of the other titles) but it's one of those little things that made it a bit more interesting. As you move up in rank, the voice greets that the Asuran use on you changes. The same can be applied to Norn, Ebon Vanguard, and Dwarves as well. The greeting that I liked hearing was "Oh great! Another bookah!" but at rank 5, I never hear it anymore. — Sixshot 01:28, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Yes, it's been noticed already. One discussion I know of is here: Guild Wars Wiki talk:Formatting/NPCs#Voiceover, not read-only. -- ab.er.rant sig 09:14, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Incorrect Was Rank 9[edit]

==9-28-2007== Changed incorrect Rk 9 from Not too Crazy to Not too Foolish as it should be :D You're welcome, Lord Dabone (80,038 current Asuran points)

Thanks bone, but does anyone have word on the hm update so we can see the max? ~Cilero
As clueless as a brick wall when it comes to HM for GW:EN, and all titles related to it. Gaile said it will be out within "a few weeks". Depends on your definition. 1-2 Months, I'd guess. After Bonus Mission Pack, perhaps? Calor - talk 02:43, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

160k max???[edit]

deldimor is 160k, as all other numbers are the same thought this might be aswell90.240.114.176 20:53, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

it is, im r9 asuran now so yea it is. --Tenshi Strife 21:52, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Is it really Not too Shabby? because i was really hoping for 'not too bad for a bookah'.Rhydeble 19:11, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Not too shabby[edit]

cant that be trivia as a line from a Adam Sandler song? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:74.241.207.96 (talk).

It's a very simple and basic phrase that's used in many movies and books; it makes any trivia difficult to establish. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 05:52, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Snow White[edit]

Aren't some of the titles references to those little dwarfs? 71.101.17.4 04:56, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

There's only Dopey and Grumpy in there, so probably not enough for a trivia statement. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 00:18, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Bounty Cap?[edit]

After reaching 160k (max rank), I wasn't able to get any more Asura reputation points with a bounty in HM. Does this go for quests, etc. as well? --Threid 02:43, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

The bad news is you can't get any more. The good news is you can't get any more. | 72 User Seventy two Truly Random.jpg (U|T|C) 03:07, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
Well said. Though if I'd known it was going to cap, I'd've tried to cap it at 160k, even. Not a big deal. --Threid 01:54, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
Then how come i have 173k dwarf points?

6000 points an hour[edit]

Once you have completed EOTN in HM, every time you acquire a Hero's Handbook in HM, it starts with 5 missions complete. The 3 quickest missions (A Time for Heroes, Curse of the Norn Bear and GOLEM) take about half an hour. You can than hand in your HHHM for 3,000 points. Rinse and repeat. Obviously works for all title tracks. Plank 05/06/2010

6,000 an hour??? I run ATFH in 4 minutes, then run Curse of the Nornbear in 5 minutes, then run Against the Charr in 7 minutes. That's 6,000 points in 32 minutes, half the amount of time it takes for you. --'Mai Yi' talk 22:08, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
Actually, its about the same time. Those 3 to turn in the book only nets you 3k points for that half an hour, or do it twice in the full hour for 6k. Guildwarsrunner 10:53, 4 February 2011 (UTC)
(4+5+7)*2=32 .. that's 6000 in 32 mins to me alright --Manassas User Manassas Mannysig.png 10:57, 4 February 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, brain fart on my part. Been up all night. Thanks for the catch. Guildwarsrunner 11:03, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Max Title Change[edit]

Isn't there SOME way we can petition for them to change the last title to "Not Bad For A Bookah"?

It's like, a crime against humanity that it's not the final title yet. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:11:42, 13 May 2011 (talk).

All the preceding titles are damning with faint praise. The max title is praising with faint damnation. It fits. -- Hong 15:05, 12 November 2011 (UTC)
