imo I think you're taking the whole name thing waaay too seriously.72.209.41.202 17:17, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

How are these (Songkai and Memories) related to the attunements? You don't gain energy, your skills cost less. Which is a big difference to me. BlazeRick 09:02, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

I agree, they aren't really related. - anja talk 12:19, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
WHile that is relevant when you are interupted, the basic functuanality, as percental emanagement is the same. Unless you are interupted, you use them the same way. It's no accident Anet named the skill "attuned". Backsword 11:17, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

how is GoLE related? 78.20.153.111 15:56, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

reduces base energy cost of spells 24.188.82.8 19:15, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
doesn't make sence... and GoE? and Expertice? ... removing GoLE since it doesn't make sence 78.20.153.111 18:13, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

ummm some one put that a ranger/ele/rt could keep this up forever, so i deleted the note Annoying And Deadly 03:04, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Isnt Elemental Attunement same as this?--ShadowFog 00:06, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
No, they're nothing alike. Euphoracle 03:43, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Yeah you are right... one makes your spells cost 50% less and the other 50% less(sarcasm).--ShadowFog 04:59, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Well since you're such a dick about everything on this wiki, lets go over a few things: AwS is base reduction, the attunements provides energy after a successful cast. Also, attunements don't work if you're interrupted or if you cancel the spell, whereas this will still reduce the energy consumed. If anything, this skill is similar to Glyph of Lesser Energy or Glyph of Energy. At least those have similar properties. Don't you ever get tired of being a total dick? Euphoracle 21:51, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
Mudslinging huh. "...total dick?"If you like that kind of things Im cool bro just keep it to yourself no need for wikis to find out about that. And good call for the statement. One does apply before doing the spell and Attunements only applies after the skill. That's call a compliment which is by your standards is rare. Leave any hate mail, greetings questions, etc. in my talk page, thank you(compliment).--ShadowFog 04:21, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
Why don't the admins ban people like Fog straight away? Sarcasm and baseless sexual insults, but he can't take someone saying "yeah, you're a jerk." He doesn't contribute anything either.
If you think something is amiss, head to admin noticeboard and report there. Try to keep these pages for discussion for the skills. You can also drop emails on their users talk pages.--ShadowFog 18:55, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Sigh.. SO annoying, only one boss has this elite skill. Grrr...

So what if only one boss has the skill? The boss is very easy to get to, and very easy to kill in both normal and hard modes, regardless of "The Pain Eater" standing next to him. I didn't find it that annoying. - Ara Ara 23:28, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

"No energy" bug?[edit]

I experienced several moments of "not enough energy" while holding this ashes. The funny thing is that my energy was full, it was a 5-e spell and noone hexed me in any way... Anybody else experienced this?

http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/User_talk:Kim_Chase#Item_Spell_Bug, Kim Chase(read it thoroughly), a QA tester, has already informed the team of this bug. I suspect they will have to do a complete overhaul of their programming ti fix this.--ShadowFog 22:40, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

wrong concise description[edit]

surely the concise description is wrong? it implies that spells cost 5% of the original cost to cast at 0 attribute. 99.241.17.220 05:26, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

The concise description states "Elite Item Spell. (45 seconds.) Your spells and binding rituals cost -5...41...50% of the base Energy." The 'subtraction' symbol in there is a bit small and difficult to notice, and it took me a second to spot it, too. This indicates that a spell costs 'minus 5-percent of the base mana cost.' Not 5-percent of the original total cost. Would be nice if spells only took 5-pecent at rank zero, though. My Xandra would be much relieved. - Ara Ara 23:31, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

makes reuperation more useable for sure. Was running Tahlkorah with no energy support and using healer's convenant...was like am i just that stupid? Healing rits work wonderfully too. Justice 00:44, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, this skill is great for a lot of things. I have it on my Xandra, and she can use Restoration magic skills without any other form of mana management. I also put it on my Razah, with 16 ranks in Spawning Power, and then gave him some minion skills with 12 Death magic. This is a great utility skill, and has a lot of great use for almost any type of primary Ritualist. Wihout a doubt, one of my favorite Ritualist elites. ~ A R A ~ 00:28, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

The Godliest skill in the Entire Game[edit]

What's it like to have 15 expertise on all spellcasting? It's like holding this badboy of an ashpot. Seriously, there are so many builds you can make around this. You can run any ritualist line, elementalist line, heal/prot monk, blood magic, death magic pretty much any spellcaster outside of Mesmer (lol) all the while having God tier energy management. Can you say win? 147.4.36.75 17:29, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
