[edit] Cooldown

Why is there a 30 sec cooldown if it says it's disabled for 120 sec? Colossus 16:38, 3 May 2007 (EDT)

I've never played a Dervish, but I suspect it was so that morale boost couldn't recharge it? Or maybe it has to do with interrupts, so that you wait less time for the skill to be available after it is interrupted, but if it is successful you have to wait 2 minutes. - BeX 16:42, 3 May 2007 (EDT)
Kinda late, but it's for if it gets interrupted I believe. Vengeance Signet 07:11, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
It's also like that to avoid people using QZ or Serpent's Quickness to spit out the Avatar more often. RitualDoll 03:12, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
It helps if you get interrupted while using this skill, 'cause you don't have to wait 120 secs to use it again. VSync 19:07, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

I know this is a bit past due, but a note to those that read this.. PvE characters can maintain an avatar state with the use of Eternal Aura. [Also, against what's stated above.. Moral Boosts do recharge the forms.] Magic Talk 23:29, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Package

Okay so I was playing gw a few days ago in ra. I saw one of those d/a w/ this skill. Somehow I start lagging and the whole world just freezes and i start looking at the avater. And omg boom! I notice the crotch area and there is an unsightly buldge in this area. So, my question is, Who else things lyssa is a sheman? --Lou-Saydus 20:07, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

-And....how did this make it to the discussion board? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:68.35.88.45 .
To answer the...strange...question, Lyssa is the God of Illusions, which means she can appear as whatever she wants to be, in this case a cross between Fe/Male. ~ Tengu
Lyssa - "have you seen my downstairs mixup? I've got a mangina!" Also, a bit beardy.--Son of Batman 12:23, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Energy

whenever this form is removed from me when i have no energy, my energy stays at 0 for a while, is this because you lose the extra energy given from the form and you're actually in minus figures on energy? Hime-chan 15:41, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Yes, your energy can go into negative values and the display will read 0 until you regen the deficit. --Valshia 16:55, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Is this a bug or is it just the way the game functions? --Jurbadis 16 December 2007

Use high energy set and get ure energy really low, then switch to a noraml set to see how it works 24.141.45.72 00:30, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Own

All I know is that when I use this avatar against an proffesion I find myself hitting 100+ with not even a maxed sythe, so all i know is that this is overkill!

It's not overkill. Not at all, in my opinion. It's an elite skill, therefore it should be a very good skill. Like with Glass Arrows on a Ranger, I can hit over 100 damage. I've even done up to 216 damage in one hit with that skill. If an elite skill that enhances your damage quite a bit is overkill, there are quite a few overkill elites that I know of. BmLeyt 23:59, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
use with daggers attack interrupts :p 24.141.45.72 00:30, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
I remember using this against a Warrior activating Healing Signet... priceless. --MrDark88 03:29, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Any1 else notice this increasingly often? A D/A with AoL and Repeating Strike? Is it just me? Why are all of my sentences questions? 68.196.242.88 15:07, 17 April 2008 (UTC)?

With Repeating Strike, all you're doing is skill-spamming to up your DPS, without any increase in attack speed or accomplishing anything else (like, as someone mentioned earlier, interrupting). There are better alternatives, IMHO. --SoraMitsukai 15:58, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

what stupidity, interrupting doesnt yield the bonus damage. heart of flame + golden phoenix strike, wild strike (or fox fangs) and ninetail strike is the best combo for this form in pvp. fill the slots with anything else you want. 86.161.94.177 14:47, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Golden Phoenix is an offhand attack lol. Halogod35 12:04, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
You can use it if you are enchanted ;) 213.93.109.51 16:21, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
I meant why would you need wild strike if you got golden phoenix? -- Halogod35 TALK TO ME NAO plz. :D 20:57, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
I think he meant Golden fox for unblockable chain. (I would use death blossom instead of nine tail, for its aoe and bigger spammability, tough). 79.186.155.198 09:32, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

An Awesome Avatar with a crap look and animations, honestly rethink this avatars physical appearance, a he-she with 4 faces and a gold light-bulb thing for a head.--Hubbard The Dervish 15:12, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
