Baked Husk farming, wtf? —ZerphatalkThe Improver 13:00, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

lol that is stupid. besides its out in the middle on no where, those worms dont spawn unless u have the quest from master ranger nente i think. That quest is ranger primary or secondary only. Oh and further mentioning why would anyone think to "farm" there when the field right next to the collector has like 20 worms that can easily drop 5-10 baked husks a run--Justice 02:00, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

Farming[edit]

Since Baked Husks are now a relevant farming item, being one of the items Nicholas Sandford wants, I feel they deserve decent mention. Farming them, I will get anywhere from 2-10 per run, and that's if I'm meticulous in making sure to kill all the worms. Since they only spawn inside a small farm area, they're not hard to come by, so with a little patience, one's desired number of baked husks will be achieved. [Alouarn Ylan on May 19, 2009]

I noticed that after completing the quest about the worm queen, the worms in the field are much more lethargic and annoying to hunt. Anyone else see this? --Star Weaver 18:10, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
A little late I know, but yes, I've seen that pattern too.--Im Irrelevant 19:46, 4 November 2009 (UTC)

It can be done outside Ashford Abbey. Go out and walk onto the farming ground on your left. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.86.114.167 (talk) at 09:07, 2011 March 26 (UTC).

The worms are right beside a town, easy to farm although they don't often seem to drp the husks --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.184.14.99 (talk) at 01:20, 2012 June 22 (UTC).

Terminology[edit]

This probably isn't the place for this... but shouldn't killing plague worms in the field be called "hunting" instead of "farming"? When I think of farming I think of gathering a lot of enemies around you and then killing them all off. IMO this isn't really possible in pre-searing because of non-aggro, or at least it isn't really worth attacking each individually to get aggro, when you can for the most part 1-3 hit all enemies anyway--Pronoob5 13:50, 01 June 2009 (UTC))

Nah, farming is just doing something repeatedly with a primary purpose of getting the rewards it offers, often involving a focus on per-run efficency. Training or gathering mobs is just a usual part of that -- also, on my level 8 Me/Mo, I often do stone elementals that way: bap them all with a wand once and shielding hands/PBAOE of Judement when they're grouped up. ^_^ --Star Weaver 18:10, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
