Duration[edit]

This skill is awesome for total anti-'Sin PvP. The critical hit stopper renders most A/D Critical Scythe builds useless, while the anti knockdown stops Horns of the Ox/Trampling Ox chains. If only there was a way to make this skill outlast its duration...any ideas? - WeHeartKatamari File:Image-User WeHeartKatamari sig.jpg 22:03, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Likely do a combination of "On Your Knees!" and a knockdown skill (or two).. Magehunters perahaps for the elite?

Grapple's definetly better at that. Noctarch 11:12, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

This skill does not work. There are several creatures most notably Asure Shadows who can knock you down no matter what. A totally worthless skill.

PvP moar plz. Anfunny 22:08, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Heroes dont seem to use it either, atleast I couldn't get monk heroes to. LunaticMaster 17:25, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

Icon[edit]

I dunno if this is where to put this, really... but if anybody has seen the large version, they'll have noticed that aside from the terrible body structure, this skill icon's figure completely lacks feet. There are legs, but they sorta vanish into thin air along the way. I'm decent at footooshorpan, but I need someone with genuine artistic talent to make a new icon for this, for my skill icon mod. If anybody's interested, feel free to tell me. --Jette User Jette awesome.png 11:15, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Description not true[edit]

As 3-years-ago-anonymous points out (see above), the part of this skill's description that states "you cannot be knocked down" is not true. In the Shiverpeaks, this skill is completely useless. Snotty (and barely English) remarks like "PvP moar plz" don't change the fact that this skill's description is not true. Azure Shadows, Summit Giant Herders, Tundra Giants, etc. can and will knock you down repeatedly if you try to rely on this skill. The Deldrimor skill "Don't Trip!" is party-wide and works exactly the way it's supposed to, so obviously there's nothing special about Giant Stomp or Signet of Judgment that can bypass knockdown prevention skills. This skill needs to be fixed so it works as advertised. Never mind, I'm an idiot. -- Tekn0mancer User Tekn0mancer-Awaken the Blood 19px sig.jpg (Talk) 02:58, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

Removing un-documented doubtful note[edit]

"*Although this skill synergizes well with Drunken Blow, heroes don't use it before using Drunken Blow. " 91.62.54.158 10:43, 2009 May 24

"Although this skill synergizes well with Desperation Blow, heroes may not activate it automatically before using Desperation Blow." User:8765 20:34, 2009 June 13

"This skill synergizes well with Desperation Blow; however, heroes may not activate this stance before using it." User:Daññy 18:07, 2009 July 9

There is no reference by any of the three involved in the reverts. Making it impossible to verify, replicate and test to confirm. These notes need to present builds in which such observations were taken, conditions (Normal Mode / Hard Mode), test area (explorable area / mission), etc.

...Who knows? Maybe the build used by the IP had more than 1 stance... or the only observation was during its cool-down...

Furthermore, both indicated skills: Desperation Blow and Drunken Blow do not requiere a stance to be activated so that the AI should be aware.
