Team God Mode[edit]

This skill needs to be nerfed. Although the recharge time alone from this skill should assume that this is balanced out but when you have four paragons using this skill as well as:Stand your ground, Ballad of Restoration, Chorus of Restoration, Finale of Restoration, and or Song of Restoration; it makes an unstoppable team that can keep their health up indefinitely. Sure you can say that they have their whole entire bar filled up with almost heals but still it is enough to keep all four members going and using only three adrenline based skills to take out targets while still keeping your team invincible. It does not look possible on paper, but when you try it out in game you will find that no team can take you out and even in alliance battles it takes almost the entire Kurzick team to take your group down.William Wallace 09:13, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm beginning to think that there needs to be 2 sets of the same skills. 1 for PvP and 1 for PvE. Because frankly, the issue with this skill(and many others) is that when used in coordinated efforts in GvG or general PvP, skills like this can create Team God Mode. Granted, that's a problem that probably needs to be addressed, but as for normal, average PvE usage with 1, possibly 2 paragons in a party, this skill is totally fair the way it is. Nerfing this skill would keep team god mode in check, but frustrates the rest of us who don't exploit the hell out of it. Admins should and need to consider the average gamer when making skill changes and weigh it in with the few who do mobilize enough to complain about functionality. OMG! Paragons in AB, the horror. So, what do we do when there's a large influx of monks in AB? We call out the mesmers or the sins. Can we possibly imagine having neccies in ab actually using their anti-paragon skills? Then there's the mesmer. You ever put spirit shackles on a paragon that wants to attack a lot? No amount of 'free e-drenaline' is going to make up for it. And it's AB, omw, treat the para-team as a mob and cap around it. It's the same mentality with an E/D earth tank. He wants to solo-cap and stand there and take damage? Oh fine, leave him be, cap around him and go to the next shrine. You're not supposed to waste time fighting over one location or group in AB anyway. You want to cap faster than the other team can keep up, it creates pressure. Then you can start fighting when you have to. AB is simple: CAP, DEFEND IF YOU MUST, CAP. Repeat. 22 Months of AB means I have no life, but also means that I have played a lot. I find it stinky when people say there is no strategy in AB.
Perhaps in GW2, they will separate PVP skills from PVE skills. It's rather simple to do now anyway, they could just simply make a new set of skills identical to the ones in play already, and rename them, then allocate PVE-only flags to the current set of skills in play now, meaning they wouldn't be available for use in PVP at all. Then they could mess around with the PVP only skills as much as they like. I think it's simple anyway.
In any case, this once useful Motivational skill has now further sidelined the Motivational paragon, more so now with the 30sec recharge on SoR as well. Although, should only be until the 1st of May 2008. --Shaia 08:17, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
