And they had to make a PvP version why? Oh yeah that's right, too many Paragons!

This is the weak version of Heal Party. 30 seconds was added due to the fact that shouts/chants has many synergy with Paragon skills meaning that's even better in a only Paragon group, so Izzy hasn't been able to actually make any balance at all(in my opinion), they just lowered the healing gain per second.--ShadowFog 01:42, 8 November 2008 (UTC)

That's not a bad idea. Instead of giving a full 15...63...75 of health in one swoop, a health regen with almost the same gain in x seconds it's not a bad idea http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/ArenaNet:Skill_feedback/Paragon, that's the suggestion page. I dunno if they(developers) still read these pages, Izzy sometimes spend at least a month of inactivity from the wiki(almost 2 month of inactivity now).--ShadowFog 22:42, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

I never fully understood this split, either. If, like Shadow Fog says, it's due to the fact that it's both a (possible) heal and that it interacts with other Paragon skills, how is that very different from a Ritualist using Protective was Kaolai? I guess the whole problem was the dreaded multi-Paragon groups yet again (i.e. the chant could interact with the echoes of a whole team of Paragons)? Well, they sure stopped those Paragon teams in their tracks, just maybe not with this skill split.

At 12 Motivation, this gives 63 health to party members within earshot if they get hit during that time, oftentimes just negating the damage, rather than healing. Kaolai, on the other hand, gives 70 healing with 12 points in Restoration--to a whole lot larger an area. Kaolai can be used outside of direct combat to heal up, as well and is on a 20 second timer, like the PvE version of this skill.
