Shouldn't this be an anomaly since it says Black Powder Mine at first and Black Powder Trap second? BlazeRick 05:15, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

Condition Order[edit]

Blindness is applied first, and Bleeding is under. Tested on Isle of Nameless - Contemplation of Purity with one enchantment strips only Bleeding. MA Anathe 03:07, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

That doesn't make sense. Do you mean Blindness is applied first, then bleeding is OVER it? "Under" means that something is ON TOP of it, and the TOP condition is the one that is stripped.--75.45.104.215 08:00, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, poor wording. Bleeding must be removed first to get at the Blinding. MA Anathe 22:52, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Expertise note?[edit]

I don't understand why Expertise wouldn't affect the energy cost of this skill. Expertise doesnt only affect ranger skills. If it were like that, we wouldnt have Touchers, Escape Scythes, etc. Has that note been proven?--Glory 00:57, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Expertise affects next to skills of certain types (rituals, attack and touch skills) all ranger skills - not traps in general. That's why it mentions it not being a ranger skill and thus not affected by expertise. Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 01:00, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Link to Weakness Trap?[edit]

Shouldn't there be a note relating this to Weakness Trap? Since they are the only traps with energy costs that are unaffected by expertise. Paddymew 08:36, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

I believe there is a viable enough connection to add to related skills, see your above reasons, also only available from GW:EN and both pve only skills. New to wiki editing, and I don't feel confident enough to edit the main page for this skill.

Damage type[edit]

It currently says 'damage type unknown' in the notes,if i was to take a wild guese i'de say its earth damage,Can anyone try to confirm this?--Neil2250User Neil2250 sig icon.jpg 08:39, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

A little late, but this still seems to be unknown damage type. I'll try testing it, find some enemies with particularly high armor in some damage type (or a Mantra of an element) and try it out eventually. --Kyoshi (Talk) User Kyoshi sig.png 16:57, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
Tested with Mark of Rodgort against the Dummies on Isle of the Nameless: causes burning, so likely Fire dmg? Newms34 19:48, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

Related to Dust Trap?[edit]

Both are traps that inflict the Blindness condition. --Random Weird Guy 09:47, 20 September 2011 (UTC)
