Its more of a joke, with Blimm being a reference to a guy from Office Space. It all became clear when he said "I believe you have my red staff" which equates to "I believe you have my stapler" which happened to be red. Kudos to ANET, i'm surprised more people don't quite catch on.

It didn't take too long at all to catch on :) several things, like the article says, moving the desk, having his red stapler taken. Other's include constantly saying he's going to burn the lab down, and I'm pretty sure he says something about he still worked there for a few months but then stopped getting paid (Guy in office space had not been "employed" for a few months(years?) but kept getting paychecks, so to fix it they kept moving him, and then stopped payin him.
