Who is the jerk that deleted all the info on the page including the bosses?

Trivia[edit]

I added the references to Red vs Blue to the trivia. Although I don't like trivia sections on skill pages because of the controversy and the number of references which can be derived, I think it's pretty clear this dungeon is a play on Red vs. Blue with the only thing missing as far as I can tell is the frog tribe names not being similair to red and blue, their colours being yellowy green and red. Dancing Gnome 06:43, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

It could be that the shape of these rabid froggies be related to Gekko from Majora's Mask.--Bleded Scythe 04:16, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Items you did not pick up[edit]

When i was teleported back to Sparkfly Swamp after 3 minutes, i did not see the window, but when i traveled to Gadd's Encampment, the box appeared and i could get the items i did not pick up. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 02:02, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

That window only shows up in outposts i think, after zoning back you're still in an explorable zone. Sadie2k 22:04, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Bosses/Boss-like Foes[edit]

aren't the patriarchs the bosses and khabuus/z'him monns the boss-like foes? LordYaara

No, the patriarchs are actual boss. Confirmed with SoC.
tought so LordYaara 16:08, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

lol...if you want to cap Spirit of Strength elite make sure you wait 'till level 2 because I cap it at level 1 and when I got to level 2 one of my elite is gone.. QQ--Ridz16 22:44, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Bugged?[edit]

I took Griff's quest, went into the first level, and couldn't get past the first gate there. There was an Ophil and a Gokir fighting each other, and neither would die...as soon as they hit 0 health, they got healed, every time, from no where. 76.89.91.45 04:32, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Yup I would have to say bugged I waiting around for 2hrs and one finally killed the other yet it didnt turn into an ally and open the door. Sandpaper Kisses

Yes this really is annoying. As I entered there was an Gokir Nahualli(Ritualist) fighting an Ophil Amini(Warrior). As this fight went on for ages, I decided to intervene and discoverd that both were invincible, you cannot kill them. As soon as they would reach 0 health, they are miraculously healed. Just exit the dungeon speak to one of the asurans Griff or Tekk and re-enter the dungeon again. Hopefully you'll get another spawn. --85.93.205.133 13:32, 22 February 2010 (UTC) Stebi

Runable?[edit]

Could a perma A/E run the first level of this dungeon? From what I recall the end door is always open and I don't think anything on the first level can go through shadow form? Pray For Peace 11:28, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Yes first level is runable

could u 600/smite the whole dungeon?

I've seen some people offering 600/smite runs through it, so it should be possible. Paddymew 13:36, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Halpz[edit]

Trying to do bogroot, me and a guildie both too Giriff's quest, got 1 of each type of enemy fighting it out, but neither will we die we tried helping them to die but they just keep getting healed from nowhere. What do we do?!?!? --Sam6555 23:38, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

Never mind, just rezoned. went in to kill em again and they both died, put this as a bug on the main page. --Sam6555 23:41, 11 April 2009 (UTC)

both Quests?[edit]

Does it matter if you take both quests at the start? Flaming Hot Chilli 01:04, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

You have to "update" one of them by talking to either of the NPC (who will join as an Ally and follow you inside the dungeon) before entering the Dungeon.
You can't "activate" both quests at once (if Giriff joins you, Tekk will leave; if Tekk joins you, Giriff will leave; see first note on either quest pages). The whole party must choose only one NPC (so, if there are two human players and one choose to take the other quest, last NPC talked to will kick previous one).
It does not matter if you have the other quest (not activated) in your Quest Log. --NIN37 15:38, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Khabuus vs Z'him Monns[edit]

The article suggests that Z'him Monns (rit end-boss) is more dangerous than Khabuus (mesmer) because of Spirit Rift. I would actually say it's the opposite; Spirit Rift has a 3 second delay before it hits, allowing you to flag your party away. It also only affects adjacent. Khabuus has Energy Surge, which hits immediately and has nearby AoE. I certainly found Khabuus to be much more of a handful. -- Hong 17:32, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

The damage from Rift is obscene (as in, possibly a insta-kill), unlike ESurge, and has a fraction of the recharge. :/ – Emmett 18:05, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
Being a ranger, I found the rit to be incredibly easier than the mesmer, seeing as the mesmer seemed to have enough FC (along with the boss half-cast) to practically never be interrupted despite being Dazed! BHA practically shut down the rit when I did it about a year or so ago. 83.251.201.44 11:10, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
Yep. I just did Z'him Monns again for the zquest, and while getting to him was a pain in the butt (damn plants at the start of lvl 2), he was surprisingly easy to kill. He wasted the rift on minions a lot of times, and when he did go for the henchies, usually he only managed to catch 2-3 of them at most. I'm removing that note. -- Hong 05:05, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

Nearly not doable with henches...[edit]

Skills of the mobs druing Tekk's war are the wort combination I have ever seen... with henches there are not enough plague/hex remove skills. Cannot only imagine it in Hard mode :-) Giving up this dungeon...

wow....you cannot beat this in NM? Try again. HM I wouldn't know as my main is a sin and we used to do ally froggy runs so meh :) Also try the other quest you may find it easier for you. --Sam6555 23:49, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
Griff's war is definetely eassier then Tekks' war. Also, my highest time on HM is just under 35 mins (Griff) and 56 minutes (Tekks'). My record on Griff's war gave me both Bogroots Focus and Bogroots Rod, which was pretty funny.
Easily H/H'able, even on HM. Just H/H's this, never done it before. Ran it HM in about an hour. Discordway, SoS caller with 4 damage henchies. No real trouble if you read ahead on the enemies abilities, died a coudle of times, but that's because I didn't :P - Awpaperwings 20:22, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

SC[edit]

Anyone speed clear this place anymore?--Ph03n1x 02:20, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

Tekk's War[edit]

There has to be a mistake. There was like 20 frogs around the res shrine on the first floor. Absolute party whipe with nothing I could do about it. 137.112.232.138 18:14, 8 October 2019 (UTC)

Initial quest giver locations...[edit]

The picture indicating Tekk and Griff's locations is incorrect. They are both near the entrance to the dungeon, and the initial picture does not reflect that... JSYantiss (talk) 02:53, 4 December 2021 (UTC)

That would be why the gold dot on the map is by the dungeon entrance. The dot near gadds is the map legend explaining what the gold dot up north means. Durp da durp (talk) 20:16, 4 December 2021 (UTC)
