Does anyone else think that with the rediculous strength of the new EoTN Bow Attacks that the old ones will be buffed? They're outclassed in everyway by these new ones. 24.85.64.125 04:47, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

Any1 know why this is a stub, looks pretty complete? --- Ressmonkey (talk) 01:09, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

I was wondering the same thing. It lists the skills, energy, etc. but it's still classified as a stub. TweSo | talk 23:28, 18 September 2009 (UTC)

Animations[edit]

I personally think that Anet done a wonderful job with SIN attack skill animations(at least the factions ones) but the thing that bothers me that you can only see approx. 4 hammer/axe/sword/scythe(3 base+1 crippling), 3(normal, mighty, disrupting; not even spear swipe have an own one and it could have tbh) spear and 2 bow attack skill using animation(everything is the first, the second is pin down/cripshot), fine, the arrow appear to be different, the bow shines or whatever when you use it, but you only shoot one way, fine its not so easy to make/develop them, but I'd have some ideas like:

           - 3 second attack skill: in the first 2 seconds, you grab 10 arrows, kneel, put the bow on the ground, take a iron flex from your pouch and forge them together then shoot in the remaining 1 second; it could be a skill like marauders, with the long activation, some fun animation, some condition like weakness or stance breaking/unblockable and domoges, it would be a really good to use it...
           - maybe for distracting shot, since you already deal low dmg, it could be like you quickly take an arrow and throw it on your enemy, it'd also fit its sound or impact animation which is more unique than the others(impact animations also..gogogo)
           - it'd be pretty lol tbh: you throw an arrow in the air and hit it with your bow string as it falls down
           - you hold it for a second, concentrating, then fire it the another second
           - fire two arrows in a row with 1 attack skill each doing something different(like first one causing a condition if you're moving, second causing a cond. if not, so smartly playing you could avoid both, or being dumb, receiving both)
           - with a melee attack skill you could smash your target with your bow, causing daze or something..

Also, each caster has a casting animation for 1/4 casts, 1 casts, 2 casts or longer, not so versatile after a time so sometimes it could depend on the spell you're using rather than casting time always(look at crippling dagger or dancing daggers, you dont actually throw them)... - Wuhy 14:19, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Stub?[edit]

Why is this stubbed? I think it's pretty satisfactory for an article that practically is just a list. It says all it needs to say: a bow attack is made with a bow, implying that people know that bows are used by Rangers. Seriously, what else is there to say? If someone wanted to mention for example, that Barrage is an excellent skill to use with SW or something, they put that on the skill page...

I just don't see what else there is to add. I'm going to remove the stub tag, as it'll probably only contribute to the deterioration of this article instead of helping it by adding extraneous information. Synapse 01:13, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

arrow speed[edit]

Does anyone know if there is a cap to arrow speed? Just how fast can we make these babies fly?Nay the One and Only User Nay the One and Only SIG.png 06:23, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
