Er, all weaponsmiths?[edit]

All of them where? Cantha? Shing Jea? Not Tyria/Elona is it? [ETA: Just saw campaign in infobox. Adding clairty now.] --Star Weaver 03:47, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Well, formatting would indicate that we don't need campaign in acquisition, since it's in the infobox, but I've never been one to revert something explained on the talk page, especially over confusion. Also, if you'd check the link to All Weaponsmiths, you'd find that it goes to the List of Factions weaponsmiths page. --Chaiyo Kaldor talk contribs 17:44, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
Ooh, looking at the link destination might have helped. Though, I looked through random items on that weaponsmith list, and out of the ones that actually had acquisition data, most of the ones I found listed the campagin at the root, even if the list was as short as:
  • Prophecies
    • Random drops
The formatting is rather random as to whether the campaign is the first level of bullet or just bolded before bullets, whether it's a link or just bold, etc. I did see at least one other page formatted as you suggest, too. --Star Weaver 18:36, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
You mean this formatting? Or just what you've seen? The latter can get awfully confusing, but it's easy to change. By the way, it's supposed to be with a semi-colon for campaigns. If you remember which page it was, I probably edited it to do that. --Chaiyo Kaldor talk contribs 18:51, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
Semicolon? Like that? I just looked it up on meta:help:advanced editing and i'm not really sure what it actually does. Anyway, no, i hadn't looked at that GWW page until now; so far I've just been going on common sense and common sight. ^_^. Though it does say to put the campagin both in the acq and the infobox, unless there's something i'm missing about redundancy there or in another GWW. Anyway, I should probably go do the semicolon thing on half a dozen stuff-that-gets-you-hero-armor pages sometime . . . . --Star Weaver 19:04, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
I guess the semicolon is a way to start a list and to bold something, which fits perfect for campaigns. Without formatting, I would quite simply not have made most of my edits, and it can be found at GWW:FORMAT; most of it is done. I didn't know about that page, though, I've just picked most of it up off the streets. That blank pipe thing will come in handy, as will those characters at the bottom. By the way, check GWW:WEAPONS#Acquisition, second and third bullet, for specific campaign info (it says to just start with regions). --Chaiyo Kaldor talk contribs 19:31, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
