More locations[edit]

I've been slightly annoyed by the fact that, when you want to switch campaigns, you always either have to travel via Kamadan, Kaineng or LA. Especially the first two are very laggy areas and often quite a distance away from where I want to be. So I was thinking, maybe once you enter in a capital, this one gets added to the campaign travel options. But, because not all capitals actually own a harbour, that may be changed to certain outposts in an area (that do have an harbour) to travel to. It would make travelling easier and faster for many of us. ~ Sanna 20:47, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

I would prefer to see the Asura Gate to Boreal Station in the list of destinations, it's logical to have a destination point from any accessible campaign. This would be especially helpful for travelling to EotN from Great Temple of Balthazar, because now such travel requires 2 steps (especially for players who doesn't have Prophecies). --Slavic 12:50, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
They could just add an Asura gate icon to the map near the great temple of balthazar or something, Make a little side quest in the isle of the nameless with a balthazar facthin reward so like you go into the isle of the namelsss and talk to some dude about what they found (Quest only appears if you own eotn) and he slows you an asura gate and rewards you with faction/exp or something. Well I agree with the first two suggestions, but the last one might be difficult with regard to the Encounter in the Depths cinematic as the temple is not a city and part of the dialog is "Are those explosives? There's a city above us." - lol. I have to say that when our alliance is making a party of 8 in a guild hall to go do something, it is a quest a real pain if you have to get to a non-Factions area, unless the leader has gone there on their own first, immediately prior to going to the guild hall. For example, we might be doing something in eotn when one player does not have Factions, which means that you can't travel to the Kaineng Center and use the Asura Gate to Boreal Station with the full party, but have to split up and meet at the destination (which can be a bit of a pain when doing a zq when there are often lots of districts). Needs better locations[edit]

Lions Arch, Keineg, Kamadan.. yet there's room for so much more, they're more areas that are near sea, how about Shing Jea, I mean look at it this way, Kamadan and LA have Halloween, Keineg has nothing Shing Jea has Dragon Festival! it's surprising it's not they're normally, thats it for Cantha, for Tyria (or whatever that part of Tyria is called) The Amnoon Oasis, Droknor's Forge? Port Sledge (ports in the damn name!) maybe even Ember Light Camp, and for Elona Nundu Bay, I mean they make sense, they all have access to water, it's not like I wanna boat to Ascalon Zachariah Zuan. 00:19, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

How to get back from Eye of the North?[edit]

Sorry if noob question - if I travel to Eye of the North just to pick up some heroes, how can I get back to continue campaign I left? -- kazerniel (talk) 08:49, 27 October 2018 (UTC)

When you press 'M' for your map, you should see a boat icon in the ocean. By clicking on that, you can then choose which campaign you would like to go to (most likely your character will only have one choice if they rushed to EotN). G R E E N E R 15:10, 27 October 2018 (UTC)
