just started GW:EW, trying to do the first real quest you recieve from Artificer Mullenix in the town of Eye of the North. Got to the first zone and it is blocked? Is this because it is the preview weekend ? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:70.128.21.65 .

I had no problem zoning and completing the quest myself. I did advance in the primary quest line first by going into the Hall of Monuments and pick up Northern Allies/Tracking the Nornbear. Try that and see if the portal opens for you. --Valshia 20:26, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Do the level 8 charr count towards Norn rep points?

Just that simple question. I'm looking for fast ways to get high norn points and I think massively destroying these over and over again may be a viable option. I just don't know if a level 8 is going to count towards my total kills.--Knux 16:44, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

They don't.

You only get rep points if the enemy you kill gives you experience. So for a lvl 20 the ememy would need to be 15 or higher. Flaming Hot Chilli 06:12, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

The first time i attempted this quest one group of charr didn't spawn and i couldn't finish the quest, after re-zoning and doing a second attempt the group was there. SniperFox 22:43, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

I just farmed these groups with 600/smite, Was a little harder in HM because of constantly beeing struck by Wild Blow but it worked if done correctly. I was hoping to farm a crazy ammount of SCC on these guys but after 6 runs no one had yet to drop one. -- Nox Coma 09:37, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

Scratch that, my bad. There are 2 different kinds of Charr, the ones originated from Prophecies and the ones from Eye ot the North. The ones from EotN did drop SCC's as only the prophecies ones didnt. -- Nox Coma 09:46, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
