Since a scythe can hit up to three foes, can the cold damage from this attack be triggered up to three times on a single use? For example, if I attack a foe in front of me, hitting not only that foe, but two other adjacent foes, all of which have less health than I do, will it trigger the cold damage for each of those three foes? Thefount 19:14, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Nope, only once each. 72.224.248.51 02:56, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

This thing does +80 damage and nobody complain about it? Lightblade 01:54, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Wouldn't it just be insane if attacks could do more +damage than this? What if it were armor-ignoring, and for half the cost? Gawd, some things need to be nerfed... User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 04:04, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

How the hell does this skill go through shadow form when you're the only target in the area....?

Can the fix this for crying out loud... it's a stupid bugSteel darkblade

Because that's not a bug, it's a game mechanic. Cold damage from chilling victory will trigger as long as the target has less health. It doesn't have to hit. Lightblade 00:35, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
"Whenever it hits a foe who has less Health than you", you were saying? Arcane Archer 08:27, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Seriously, it isn't right that it goes through shadow form when you're the only target.

Okay, it's abuse of game mechanics. That's just terrible... QQ User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 04:07, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Wind Prayers?[edit]

Does any1 know why they changed this skill to wind prayers? --anon who dislikes the usage of four tildes (~~~~)

Because it's a powerful spike skill. ~ ZamaneeJinn 23:37, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
Reducing the base & additional dmg would of made more sense instead of moving the skill to a diff attr line. --207.161.47.49 16:32, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
It was because Rangers abused it. Moving it to wind prayers forced them to triple-spec, while a lot of offensive Dervish builds use Wind Prayers, anyway. User Raine R.gif Raine - talk 04:09, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Attribute change[edit]

This skill needs to be updated.--71.67.243.230 11:12, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

The PvP skill page is already updated. It's still Scythe Mastery in PvE. Calor Talk 02:56, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

[1][edit]

maybe its me but i dont understand the reasoning behind this revert i mean banishing isnt used much and bad positioning is as noteworthy as increasing your max health to get the conditional on this (lol both are pretty obvious imo.......)

Shadow form?[edit]

This skill apears to hit me through shadow form. duscuss?

"If you targeted a foe who had less Health than you, that foe and all adjacent foes are struck for 15...51...60 cold damage." The Cold damage does not require you to hit. Frosty 21:46, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
Full health, Solo. and sorry for not signing the above comment by me --~~Lotus~~ 22:15, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
Relatively simple mechanic to understand. SF causes melee attacks to miss, but Chilling Victory doesn't actually have to hit to activate the second effect, only target. Also, most mosnters (especially in HM) have a lot more health than your average perma. --99.230.145.201 23:50, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

...less health than you...[edit]

Does "less health than you" refer to % of health or actual hit points?208.92.184.201 00:43, 17 January 2010 (UTC)Zeke64

Actual health. — Galil Talk page 00:50, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

Conjure Frost[edit]

Would it increase the additional damage?--83.82.62.210 11:56, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

there's no reason it would. --Dragon7 cape emblem.pngThe Holy Dragons 12:18, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

Cold damage does stack.[edit]

If you hit say three targets the result would be that all targets take the initial damage once each and the take the added cold damage three times each together with any other adjacent foes.

Yep, didn't used to work this way but it's been changed. K2K 11:27, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
