Skill Disable[edit]

Can this skill be disabled ? if interrupted with something like Psychic Distraction or Distracting Shot? or even disabled with Diversion?Aljazya 18:02, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

As there are in fact a large number of near identical skills named like this, it's impossible to answer. Might well be true for some versions but not other. Backsword 18:03, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
HA version can not be disabled. BlazeRick 21:44, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Ghostly in HoH has new skill icon?[edit]

I was on obs, it seemed so. Am I going crazy? Mango 04:10, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Sometimes it looks like the normal monster skill icon and sometimes it definitely has a different icon. I think it might depend on if its your ghost or an enemy ghost, I'm not sure. —JediRogue 17:34, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

"The icon shown is only used for the version in the Hall of Heroes. All other versions use the generic monster skill icon. " Vili User talk:Vili 07:36, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

Concise Description[edit]

You aggro all enemies on the map. In Heroes' Ascent, you become 300...300...300% more likely to be interrupted. In a key point of a mission, your party becomes 300...300...300% more likely to wipe. --Gah User Gah My Name Cant Fi Echomending.jpg Eat my uber regen. 21:56, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

I can't recall any missions where the Ghostly casts Claim Resource while enemies are close enough to be a threat. Also, Song of Concentration. Vili User talk:Vili 00:51, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Split[edit]

Disagree. This isn't a player skill, so that level of detailing isn't required. A table of the different versions (like the one at the top of this page) could be put in the article. How would you name all the duplicates? That would be a nightmare. You'd have to link each duplicate to each of the other duplicates, or make a friggin "Claim Resource" navbox. When people look up "Claim Resource" in the search box, they've usually got no idea which version they're looking for, so split pages would make it even harder to track down the correct one. So, with all the inconvenience attached to splitting, I also don't see a single benefit to it. User Rose Of Kali SIG.jpgRose Of Kali 12:01, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

I think a "Claim Resources" and "Claim Resources (Heroes' Ascent)" would be be fine. The Ghostly Hero (Heroes' Ascent) skill list has to awkwardly not use the skill template. Manifold User Manifold Neptune.jpg 14:06, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
Except with the pluralization, I agree with Manifold; besides we had always split Siege Attack from Siege Attack (Bombardment), how is this any different? It isn't like it is just the icon; we have a completely different skill, and we even separate things like Dhuum's Rest and other "monster skills" (I put in quotation marks as the example is used by players but it is a unique skill like monster skills). -- Konig/talk 14:17, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
I don't know how to do it, otherwise i would have done it mysef. But I agree on the split. I have the feeling the split discussion is also forgotten, so hopefully this bump helps.

I disagree on the split. Siege Attack and Siege Attack (Bombardment) have different mechanics whereas the only differences with the different versions of Claim Resource is the energy cost and casting time, and the energy cost is largely irrelevant to players anyway. As Rose of Kali said splitting them all off would require a lot of work and research and the only result would be to confuse people as to which version they're looking for. There's no important differences between versions so I don't see any benefit to the split. 86.168.228.45 18:37, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

Apart from the icon, the cost, the descriptive notes, and the skill ID? File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpg Chieftain Alex 21:57, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
