Still it owns i just wished male paragons DIDNT have that skirt...it just is creepy. But they're still good.--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:64.148.16.86 (talk).

Para[edit]

The skill is good when you know when to use it. & let's no talk about paragon skirts while dervishes still roam the survers.--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:77.70.60.74 (talk).

The Reaper is cool where the School girl ain't. Noctarch 23:27, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Aside from the completely redundant... I think Paragons are great. Really balanced with a few heals, and useful attack skills, and empowering shouts/chants. It's like a tactics rit. P:72.209.41.202 15:54, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Heres the problem, Accumulated Pain, now compared that to this. Why the paragon must wait 13.5 seconds to inflict Deep Wound?--66.50.161.76 18:46, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Eh...heres another Wounding Strike...maybe because Paragons have 80 armor, 10 armor difference they have to make it harder to reach Deep Wound?--ShadowFog 18:22, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

They lack really good armor prefices like Windwalker's. Or stances like Conviction. I assume the reason is a theoretically non-existing recharge time and the possibility to apply from safe distance. Noctarch 06:51, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Req[edit]

People complain about not meeting the req, because people will move. Well, if you're chucking spears at someone in the middle of a battle, they're not likely to randomly walk away. Chances are, if you've been fighting long enough to attain 7 adren., the spear will hit. ~Xiao

Well it's because of a lot of reasons one of those being that being a class that depends on adrenaline it can't do squat against blocking opponents nor do something against pressure. The other is kiting, kiting a spear is easier than kiting a bow, if your opponent is kiting your spear then chances are you will have a useless skill for a while and what you say is true also. I just don't like running that chance. Good skill never the less, plus damage, conditional Deep Wound and ranged too.--ShadowFog 01:00, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
Everyone is going to stop moving at some point , you just have to time it.77.70.60.74 12:36, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Kiting a spear is not easier than kiting a bow. Try kiting bows, I can dodge around 75% of the normal activation attacks. Spears are frickin a lot harder to dodge.Crimmastermind 08:21, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
You need a lot of practice! Head to Isle of the Nameless and see how a that Master Healing dodges it with ease. If you had enough experience in PvP, veteran players knows how dodge this with no problem--ShadowFog 11:22, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Not hard to dodge *just about* any ranged auto attack. Simply know how long their attacks take, and press Q or E about 3/4 of the way through it. Best way to prevent people from moving is to knock them down. Easy to knock out blocking stances too... If you're a good player with the right set of skills and teammates, this skill is wonderful.72.161.115.13 03:22, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

What's all this talk about kiting? Anyone can tell this is designed to be combined with another player who makes the foe not move (kds, weakened knees, winter's embrace, etc), like just about every paragon skill. It's like saying "but people can just see savannah's heat and move out." Or heck, use it like an easy req interrupt. They can't move while using a skill and half a second of aftercast. pvp character note[edit]

wth is the note trying to say? cause the way its worded currently does not seam real. Justice 11:17, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

"Synergy"[edit]

It's not exactly a synergy note worthy point (is it?) but in pve, this goes great with blazing spear and spear of fury as there is a shortage of brutal damage medium-high adrenaline attacks. Instead of shooting fury at bleed, just take blazing and cruel, throw each first, fury, each again. You get two chances to score the DW in a row vs the big targets; smaller targets drop like flies, so with some strategy you can pretty much start each guy off with a Cruel spear and feel like you're always spiking (just avoid throwing fury at a corpse... its easy to do with this kind of dps). R/P Pet'n'Spear Ranger using Never Rampage Alone & Lightning spear (for the little bit of adrenal downtime) with this combo is just murder, and I imagine a P/R with a zealous weapon & pet could do the same thing. Even with the grotesque violence of Enraged Lunge PVE, I found this combo more lethal. 75.158.134.214 06:13, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
