I once got a white Crystalline Sword in the pre-searing, I had it for the longest time but then merchaned it, thinking it had no value. Never seen a white one like it there since.

i saw someone selling an inscribable crystalline sword they said they got from a chest drop

[edit] Drop change ?
I've been playing GW since the beginning of it & in the early days of the game, one of my guildmates would have a crystalline that he said he'd dropped in Riverside Province. I was pretty close with him & he was a mature person so I don't believe he would have lied. Does anyone know if there is a (even infinitly small) probability of dropping this WHEREVER in prophecies &/or if this item's drop has been modified from the original way it used to drop.
Probably the only opportunity of getting a Crystalline Sword in Riverside is a BUG!. Maybe he was wrong ad it dropped somwhere else...or maybe he was just joking. As they say they only drop in HA, Zaishen chest and sometimes in the chests in Kilroy's mission in prophecies (only purple)
If someone have some knowledge than use it,if u dont than dont speak about thing that u dont know about.In the end - yes,gold crystalline/dwarvens/serpents were dropping in proph from chests that were nerfed later than,after than only possibility of getting gold one was from hoh chest.All that drops in tyria could not be max dmg,and they could be with unconditional modifier.So,yes,i think that there is huge posibility that your frined got that crystalline if that was in the begining of the proph.Now,after all,any possibility of geting gold uninsc crys as a drop is imposible since hoh chest is nerfed and it does not drop non insc items for more than 1,5 year
- There were a set of (no key needed)chests in riverside provinince, about 6 of them and they all dropped every possible item in the game(including pre-searing and FOW and UW drops). It's very possible a crystalline sword could drop there(I was getting dyes, armours with runes in and collectible drops like dark remains from those chests).(marsc 21:10, 19 April 2009 (UTC))

It is a shame that they do not drop from other areas in the game, isn't it about time there was another way to get a crystalline sword in PvE :( i personally love the skin and would love the chance to get one dropped from a mob or a chest... T1Cybernetic 08:16, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Purple ones drops in game - fow,uw and kilroy quest chests,but non insc...which sometimes stinks.Otherwise,there is a change of getting q8 crystalline,which is almost for 2 years imposible to get in gold version

Requirement: 7 Swordsmanship is lowest as with any other max damage weapon. Most of them is probably uninscriptable and very rare.87.96.16.66 09:11, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
