Evaluation[edit]

I think that consensus should be reached on the evaluation section prior to any further subjective opinions being posted. What one person sees as a pro, another is labeling as garbage. I do not wish this to turn into a revert war, since it appears to be happening on several of the henchmen pages since the update. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 12:29, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Cons[edit]

Troll unguent is bad as the hench wastes 3 seconds + aftercast when a monk is likely to heal them during that time. --Qwertyasdf 02:56, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

But it has a relatively long lasting regeneration. It's the catch-all ranger heal.-- User Vanguard VanguardLogo.pnganguard 02:58, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
It's the catch-all ranger heal for rangers who split and gank npcs in PvP. It is a complete waste of bar space, cast time and energy cost in PvE, where he is incapable of splitting (because he's AI) so he will be near monks the entire time. -Auron 03:00, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
So can I change all hench ranger pages back to saying that troll unguent sucks? I have not seen any concrete argument that suggests otherwise. That goes for all self heals too with Lion's Comfort maybe being a bit more debatable.
Works for me tbh. Most of the old hench bars could be described with a huge list of cons and no pros, as they were mostly all bad. -Auron 18:29, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

Charm Animal[edit]

Does he have Charm Animal? The other night, I had Daeman as a henchman coming out of Leviathan Pits. In the middle of fighting, suddenly a Lvl 5 crab showed up in my party list as a pet. None of my heroes had Charm Animal, and the crab seemed to follow Daeman all the time. Warner Young 20:36, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

Good observation. It is true that occasionally, a crab will declare its allegiance to the Luxon Armada. 71.246.155.55 21:16, 19 July 2010 (UTC)
