Has anyone tried to kill all titans and THEN do quest?--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:67.140.222.212 .

That would be stupid as they would all just respawn again once you enter the zone ~ KurdUser Kurd sig.png 14:44, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
Yeh, its the easier way to do it iirc, less to worry about protecting the NPCs from. — Skuld 14:59, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

The thing aint too difficult with 2 warriors. Anyway the boss Mentani Arobo: i tried to skillcap, but he aint warrior or ranger. What profession does he have?

2 heroes with Psychic Distraction will easily dispatch most of the titans here - they just need some form of energy gain from a necromancer. Plus you can easily travel there from Temple of Ages - so you'll have 2 extra party members. SamoK 20:59, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

I don't believe a party has to "vanquish" the titans to take advantage of the bug; my party just kept resurrecting at the shrine until we killed the boss, then noticed that the quest was complete. (Not too hard with 4 warriors, a ranger, and just one monk -- as long as no one minds a little DP.) --171.66.137.123 05:01, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

I did the quest just now. Yeah, you don't have to "vanquish," just kill some key titan spawns, all of which come to you. Changing the bug note. --8765 07:37, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

How do you even get the boss to spawn once your party failed and than ressurect. Nvm, have to be at settlement for that to work.

I've been a GW player for 3 years and still haven't completed this quest. Even coming with an 8-man party from Temple of the Ages isn't enough. It seems kind of embarassing that I'm finding a Normal Mode quest too hard, and I don't even want to think about what this would be like on HM. =S Astralphoenix777 17:44, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

A note regarding returning to Lion's Arch and losing two henchmen: When I did this quests I left from ToA with three heroes, Alesia, Orion, Dunham, and Reyna. I failed the quest, but when I clicked Return to Outpost the only henchman to leave was Dunham, and I was in LA with 7/6. Odd... It's nice to know that the Titan quests can still kick my butt after all these years though, even with things like heroes and PvE skills. 68.118.255.219 15:44, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

I just think the location for this quest is bad, not so much the actual quest. The Last Day Dawns quest is in an area with a 4 man party, so you can handle it with just Heroes on Normal. The Defend Droknar's Forge quest is in an area with level 20 Henchman and so once again, you can handle it with them and Heroes on Normal. The Defend Denravi quest does have the disadvantage of level 15 Henchman but you can do it without ever talking to Evennia, on Hard Mode, die quite often, but never have the issue of a party defeat too early or too many Titan groups building up as they are limited in their spawns to having other Titan groups die. This quest however, is done in an area that you can either come at it with a group of 6, in which the 2 henchman are level 10, or a group of 8, in which the 4 henchman are level 15. Either way the level of the henchman severely handicaps you in normal against the groups of Titans. Now if you switch it to Hard Mode those henchman do get raised to level 20, but the titans also go up in level and over-aggroing of titans during this quest in Hard Mode can quickly and effectively demolish your 6 or 8 man group. With the quest designed so that the titans spawn rapidly and come at you rather quickly, over-aggroing them happens frequently because Greywind is an ass and runs into them. I simply find this quest to be the most difficult of the Titan quests based on it's location and the handicaps it puts in your way when trying it with just Heroes & Henchman.17:07, 25 November 2009
um its easy when you use the anomaly that the quest doesnt fail when greywind dies :D 127.0.0.1 02:33, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
It doesn't complete when Greywind dies at the first area. Nice try though.
Most ridiculously easy quest because of this weird bug :D Tong2 01:51, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
Did they fix the bug? Because when I die, I keep resurrecting, but I die immediately after that :s
Yes i think they did, i had exactly the same thing
Same here on HM, I guess its fixed. --Kilaa1000 18:38, 15 February 2012 (UTC)

(reset indent) I don't think the bug's fixed. Worked for me just now as described. :D 50.128.192.132 23:06, 26 December 2013 (UTC)

Another Bug[edit]

Anyone else having problems with the final titans not spawning? I did the "don't click on the Return to Outpost button" method. Also Graywind died before he could take me to the settlement. I occasionally run into this problem with them not spawning, just wondering if others have too.114.156.210.86 14:32, 1 May 2010 (UTC)Ryoko

I think the bug is after you have arrived at the settlement. Thats the really tough part as they send alot of those ranger titans at you and killing them spawns 3 ele titans each. If the bug didnt exist, the hardmode version would be rediculous and would require an A+ team & tactics. Justice 00:48, 17 July 2011 (UTC)
