[edit] Comparison to Judge's Intervention
Well, the damage dealt is half that big as the Heal of this, but the recharge is a lot better. —Zerpha

how much is fatal?
- Fatal means any amount of damage that will cause you to die. For example, if I have 10hp left, and someone deals me 30 damage, that 30 damage is fatal. However, if I have 40hp left, then the 30 damage is not fatal because I will not die because of it.

- in other words: the next time target ally would die, that ally is healed for x health instead. ^^ - Y0_ich_halt

- Only if they die from damage. "They just die" effects (like Vengeance) will not trigger either Divine Intervention or Judge's Intervention. -

Someone may want to add a bug note, since it's also triggered by degeneration, sacrifice, and life stealing, none of which are 'damage', in game mechanics terms. Unsure if it's intentional or not, but the description clearly states 'damage' triggers it. I'd do it myself but I'm not too familiar with wiki stuff. 68.75.53.214 22:25, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
- I think it deserves a bug note. The desciption of the spell clearly states that only damage should activate the healing effect. Degeneration is not part of the definition of damage; in fact it clearly states that degeneration is NOT damage. "Damage in Guild Wars results from actions taken by attackers that subtract a portion of a defender's health. This definition includes many attacks or skills (including spells) but does not include health degeneration, life stealing, sacrifice, or health loss caused by skills such as Infuse Health, Flesh of My Flesh, or Illusion of Weakness."
- I think the idea of this spell is to negate the next death that's why it triggers from degeneration also. So yes i think its intentional. Its just that the description doesn't match the actual spell effect imo. Eth 09:55, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
[edit] NO!
From testing, it looks like the damage is NOT negated and that your health is set to whatever you should be "healed" for (in my case, also +12 from Mysticism). Fail skill, IMO.
And for the record, the "negates that damage" is fully functional on Judge's Intervention. (Raine Valen 09:04, 18 August 2008 (UTC))
