Talk:Dreadspawn Maw

[edit] Ahem.
I think it's great that they ban people for inappropriate conduct, yet have an enormous, pulsing vagoo front and center in their biggest elite "mission" yet. Don't get me wrong, I certainly lol'd irl (so to speak), but come on guys... Why can't I talk about it in Local Chat when you have it displayed openly as part of the game content? :P Faer 16:39, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed. We also have Corsair Seamen in A Sticky Operation, plus the bosses Yerk Plopsquirt and Twig Slipfall. Now if people get problems when they talk about a gigantic, bloody pussy ingame, that is indeed there, this makes a fine example of double standards and is just stupid. --Longasc 08:01, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
- Never thought of it as a vagina until I read this discussion page, and I still don't. Did you think the same about the desert monster Luke Skywalker was going to be fed to, in Return of the Jedi? josəph 12:16, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- No, because the Sarlacc doesn't even remotely resemble a vagina, whereas the Dreadspawn Maw does. It's really quite obvious what it is referencing, whether ArenaNet staff want to come right out and admit to it or not. Faer 08:06, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- Lore clearly indicates that the maw is the birth place of demons, the lame starwars argument is silly because it eats things, it doesnt spawn monsters. This is clearly a vagina dentata and if i ever get banned from gw i would just write a letter to the legal department explaining that i would be less inclined to complain to the ersb if i could play the game. but then i dont do anything that deserves even a temporary ban.
