Hmm teleport could be very useful in certine situations. (trench farming in doa) but probably wont see much use unless it's on pve sins --Lou-SaydusUser Lou-Saydus Hail Storm.jpg 16:36, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Its usefull for monks with Mending Touch since you dont have to walk to allies any more Masterofthat 18:16, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

I agree. And it's not a bad healing spell either as it heals 180 health with a cost of 5 enery, AND you shadow step as well. Quite useful for any healer. --Adul 04:43, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Yeah maybe with mending touch, but still the main drawback is that you have to be in melee range for it to work, not the fact that you have to move there. --Lou-SaydusUser Lou-Saydus Hail Storm.jpg 05:18, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Whoever said its "teleport" is wrong, ive tested it, and it acts like shadowstep, NOT teleport
Correct; it's a shadow step.

Is this affected by Divine Favor?Mehtis 17:43, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

Obviously not. — Skuld 22:21, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
I don't know. I like this skill on my ranger build, partly because I can do a combo of touch skills (throw dirt). this is quite useful, especially if an ally is getting killed by, say an assassin or a warrior. its also good for dodging projectiles. say 8 rangers just vollied you with arrows. make them all miss by letting them fire, then shadow stepping away to another ally. from there, who knows? I see endless possibilities for this spell.
The main fact is that this is so impossibly cheap with such a quick recharge that a lot of characters should probably bring it simply for the shadowstep. The healing is pure bonus. Silavor UserSilavorSigIcon.png 04:16, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
Return+heal+10 sec recharge+no attribute points=Super PvE monk return for high level PvE! Justing6 13:43, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Spirits[edit]

Why would spirit be healed? Spirit can't be healed with anything that doesn't specifically say heal spirit or summoned creatures, so I don't think it is a bug. Justing6 13:44, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

True, they're not even healed by Heal Area or its ilk - removing bug note. ~Seef II <|۞> 08:49, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Healing Spring , however , does heal spirits. --77.160.14.220 20:12, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

What if...[edit]

if you and ur friend use this skill simultaneously in each other what happens? the GW breaks?

Im not sure it would be possible to use it simultaneously, you have to have the timing exact, latency exact, internet connection exact etc. There are too many variables. Peace'n'Passion 15:29, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Just go out of spell range and que the spells on you and your friend. The spells should hit at the same time, not sure what happens though. 212.10.148.21 22:43, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
altho i havent tested it, i'm 100% positive you and your friend will shadow step to either to your or your friends initial location if done this way, its 50-50%, but go test it :P - Wuhy User Wuhy sig.jpg 02:26, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Obviously, you hit each other and die at that speed. --Jette User Jette awesome.png 02:36, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
What happens is DIVIDE BY ZERO. --syn // talk Contributions 03:33, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
It was how Lord Odran first entered the Mists. Paddymew 11:01, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Then the new question is what happened to the other person who used Ebon Escape as well --70.105.19.202 14:54, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Unable to shadowstep?[edit]

In the notes section it says "If you are unable to shadowstep, the heal will still occur". But in what situation would you not be able to shadowstep? : /

If you and your target are on either side of a wall/closed gate/etc. Paddymew 12:21, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Yes,Since shadow stepping Isent teleporting(I.E consume corpse),its sort of like a 'instant run' so if you were below a bridge and an allie is above a bridge and you cannot get on top of the bridge by just running(within) your current compass to your allie ,you just shadow step to the posistion he is standing BUT below the birdge.--Neil2250User Neil2250 sig icon.jpg 21:39, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
In the sense that you click on the ground or select your friend and press space, then yes, shadow stepping is practically just running at high speed. Except for the fact that you can shadow step across bodyblocks, of course. Paddymew 22:29, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Healing Modifier[edit]

I know at least Deep Wound affects the heal on both sides. There should at least be a note about that.--Ph03n1x 00:58, 24 October 2011 (UTC)

I've been running around the Student of Deep Wounds, shadow stepping to my hero with all combinations of deep wound. Whoever had a deep wound received 20% less healing, whoever did not have a deep wound received full healing. Tub 10:51, 24 October 2011 (UTC)

Changes in rank scaling[edit]

At rank 6, it heals for 110. 72.94.198.174 20:09, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
