Carven Effigy?[edit]

Well when I made the page for Carven Effigy I was unsure of what species to classify it as, considering that on the undead page it said they were still unconfirmed. Anyway, Dirigible came and fixed it up for me, and classified Carven Effigies as elementals, so should they be added to the table then? I'm not sure about formatting for these sort of pages >.< --Blobulator 18:03, 21 April 2007 (EDT)

As far as I am aware, Carven Effigies are not undead but elementals that are affiliated with the undead, much like Ice Golems are elementals but are affiliated with the Stone Summit. --Santax (talk · contribs) 21:57, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
Whatever they are, they count for both bounties. -- Gordon Ecker 05:10, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
Then they're most likely both. 145.94.74.23 13:12, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

List by element[edit]

Is this list by the elements necessary? I can't even tell what it means by "by element" - at first it sounds like it means what they are made of but it lists crystal as both air and aether (clearly not), and a wisp (literally a soft wind) as water. And it clearly isn't by skills either (which seems to be how the crystals are classified) as there are many professions without an element to them. The list seems like a complete mess and I don't even know what it's trying to list so it seems rather unnecessary to me. -- Konig/talk 03:39, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

Some seem fairly clear-cut, but the Mesmers, "Crystal"s and Diamond Djinn probably don't belong on the list. The Wisps not only look like water, but they also do cold damage. Manifold User Manifold Neptune.jpg 03:46, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
It's a pretty random mix of looks, name, used skills, dealt damage and drops. I see no need for it, since no really usefull or realiable information is presented. –User ARTy sig.png 23:01, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
I took the liberty of removing the table, since four people (the three above plus myself) cannot see how it helps players' understanding of the [insert synonym for species]. I can imagine that there are alternate presentations of the various elemental foes that would be useful to supplement the main list, i.e. I'm not opposed to adding a different table. However, I'd like to see a prototype first...and some explanation as to its benefits. (That way, we can all help contribute to it.) – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 23:38, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
