Someone uploaded a picture of Female Obsidian armor. If my two pictures were deleted because Emily was going to upload hers, then why is Kickass' picture still here? --Chiaro 15:43, 21 March 2007 (EDT)

Because no one has seen it and delete-tagged it, probably. No special other reason. — Anja 17:57, 21 March 2007 (EDT)
I am sure it will be replaced in due course, some people are so impatient. --Lemming64 18:19, 21 March 2007 (EDT)
That isn't the problem. The problem is, earlier I had put up two pictures for this page. They were taken down the next day because Emily was going to put the render up. If mine were taken down, why are these still here? --Chiaro 15:59, 22 March 2007 (EDT)
Because after they were taken down a discussion took place on whether it was better to have nothing at all or something uploaded. The remaining images were left because people believed that it was better to have something there to look at in the meanwhile. - BeXoR 18:42, 22 March 2007 (EDT)
if you think it should be removed then why do you not tag it for deletion? GWW:DELETE --Lemming64 16:17, 22 March 2007 (EDT)

Known render issues[edit]

The following issues will be corrected as soon as I can get proper renders for the armor in question. --Emily Diehl 20:29, 23 March 2007 (EDT)

New armors...[edit]

Hey, Im pretty new at wiki and im not confident i can cope with fixing this but now that we have dwarven armors maybe someone should update this page?? hmmmm?

Thank!! =D --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:172.212.3.195 .

Please fix broken link.... i think i may have caused it while reverting back to the last "good" version. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:WillCurrie .

The "Dwarven armor" is not an armor set but more considered individual pieces, that's why they are listed as such. You can see them collected at Deldrimor armor. - anja talk 19:36, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Perhaps then we should call it "Deldimor Armor". I still feel like this deserves a normal looking set up though.
Sure, its unusual for each piece to get a separate name but lets face it - its meant to be a set. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:WillCurrie .
Emily Diehl (Anet employee) confirmed that the Deldrimor armor pieces weren't meant to be a set, but were intended to be mixed and matched with other armor sets to create unique looks. Some of them look like they match very well though.
And as Anja said, Deldrimor armor has all of them together. :) - BeX iawtc 01:51, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

NPC armors[edit]

Elementalist Aziure.jpg

its a pity...always all these very unique npc-armors that players cannot buy...why does anet sometimes only change details of existing armor to create prestige armors when they could instead use one of this huge pool of amazing npc-armor (peaces)... —ZerphatalkThe Improver 19:57, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Because NPC armor only requires one set(I believe) of textures, because the NPCs are often made for the armor. Therefore they are enabled to have that armor, this is less work. It would take ages for the developers to make NPC armor available because they'd need to size it to every model character size in the game. :) UserDrago-sig.gif Drago 20:32, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
ah k, splitting the armor in 5 parts could be complicated. But is the size of the diffrent character models really the biggest issue? Doesn't the Armor simply accord to the size of the player character? —ZerphatalkThe Improver 19:57, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
The size would just scale, but that armor would only fit an elementalist, and for instance, Jora's armor would only fit a warrior. I'm not sure if the models are made with 5 separate pieces, but for Aziure's armor it used to exist in the beta I think. - BeX iawtc 05:17, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
Only fit Elementalists? well, does it need to be common armor? Suppose there are enough NPC armors for every class and gender that could be used. :) So the problem will likely be the split into 5 peaces. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 22:25, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
ZOMG THEY MIGHT HAVE TO DO SOME PROGRAMMING!?! PROGRAMMING?!?68.51.95.206 18:40, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
That armor is disgusting. Do not want. And ^ yes, you know they just don't wanna have to do work :p --Naoko20 14:53, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
Its true that NPCs tend to get some pretty interesting armor, but Arena.Net would be hard-pressed to do all the work necessary to make any of it player-wearable. Insofar as Elementalist Aziure's armor is concerned, does anybody know what the male version looked like, if there even was a male version to begin with? If there wasn't, that could be why they keep making ugly and boring armor, or some sets that are nearly replicas of others, instead of implementing an armor that's already been created and used. It wouldn't be fair to give femme Elementalists a new set of armor and not do so for the males. They probably don't want to have to design a male Elementalist armor set to match Aziure's, just for the sake of giving us better-looking armor.
Personally, Aziure's armor is the only Elementalist armor that I'd bother paying gold for, but I don't think I'm ever going to get to see it implemented. A shame, really; most other femme Elementalist sets all have the same general design: pauldrons and exposed midriff. This one's actually unique in design. ~ A R A ~ 02:51, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

I want the canthan guard armor so bad without a zaishen tonic Stone Summit Ranger

I want[edit]

smexy male ele armor. 76.185.244.98 00:16, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

I agree. The male Ele armor is DULL! 192.122.222.180 00:27, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

And the female ele armor is for SLUTS!

You guys pretty much just summed up elementalists ;P |NalanaUser Nalana Darkling santa.jpgDarkling| 01:57, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

I couldn't agree more. I hate how the ele armor for females are for sluts and male just are dull. Even the faces are so too, and so is the 'creative' way gw made the chars stand -.- --Naoko20 14:51, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

What face is the ele male face on all of the displays on the armors?

black arms[edit]

almost everytime i see a male(never saw it on female) ele with common armor gauntlets (destroyer, chaos, stone, etc) the visible part of their arm will turn black :/ (sorry no screen (will try to post one if i see it aggain))The Holy Dragons 19:17, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

You need to upgrade your graphics card driver, or something in your gw file is corrupted and you need to re-install the game. I had a similar problem with footprints once and it was my gfx card driver. 174.56.66.208 00:59, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

Geeky armor[edit]

Okey, I want a "geeky"/smartlooking female armor for my Elementalist. I'm going to have the Slim Spectacles and i have a geeky hair (a). Know any Combos or armors? I've been looking at Wiki but I can't find any really smart looking armor. ;) Would be nice if you could answer :) Aiyanasunshadow 08:04, 18 December 2011 (UTC)

Krytan and Tyrian[edit]

The Krytan and the Tyrian armors looks messed up, or switched around, gender-wise. If you look at the detail and style of the Krytan armor for females, then it is a lot more similar to the male Tyrian, and the female Tyrian is more similar to the male Krytan. I noticed it a while ago, and it's kind of odd because the Elite Stormforged looks more like an elite version of Krytan, rather than regular Stormforged. Similar things has happened to other prophecies armors, like one of the necromancer elite armors looking more like the regular, and the regular looking more "elite". Gotta love Prophecies <3 Gaudy Gourd God 18:47, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

True, especially the hand pieces on the first two and the pelvis triangle on the second two. Also necro armours are pretty fucked up in prophecies :D File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpg Chieftain Alex 19:49, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
I wonder if the designers ever noticed this, or if they can't tell the differences between their own creations. Heaps of anomalies and bugs related to armors out there, if only they would act on reports. Maybe they just thought it would be fun to switch them around, like an easter-egg... we all know Anet has terrible humour. Gaudy Gourd God 21:54, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
