Talk:Fast faction farming
From Guild Wars Wiki
I'd rather FFF redirects to Faction Farming, since Fast Faction Farming is just faction farming done right. :P --Karlos 12:36, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
- Well I suppose we could move Fast faction farming to Faction farming or Faction farm and make FFF to redirect to the appropiate page. Bane of Worlds (talk • contribs) 14:16, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Clean Up?
This article is very messy. The english is bad, the sentences aren't clear, there is a lot of ambiguity and it is generally not in wiki style. I'll come back to it later when I have more time to do something but atm any help is appreciated. Dancing Gnome 19:57, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
Im totally confused about FFF and this didnt help, so i think u did it right81.76.114.89 17:50, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] secure the coast
has anyone tried this to do alone because there arent a lot of ppl in breaker's hollow to do fff
- It can be done alone, takes about 5½ minutes. Just remember not to take the quest before doing the run. Order I use is: Waterfall, Temple, Yeti Fields, then Yeti Grotto. --Indecision 02:04, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
- Edit: Here's a map:
[edit] HFF
It mentions HFF and redirects from HFF, but how do you do it with heroes? Image:SigKarasu.png Karasu (talk) 13:10, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- See the team build on PvX. It describes in detail how to do it. --Valshia 18:56, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Link is currently an empty page. Auntmousie 09:11, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] luxon HFFF
another known spot for HFFF is the jade arena, starting from jade flats. ~1min per run, 400 faction reward 213.121.242.200 10:08, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Luxon FFF
there is 2 directions to enter the quest Jade Arena both should be listed as seperate links since people seem to be confused about this.
[edit] gods talk
Its nice how the gods of offical wiki don't want to admit the existance of hhff hff so they hack and sack text and links or any thing that refers to it. I suggest a google search of guildwars luxon hhff or another wiki , a look at youtube.com or here --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Azwildbill (talk).
- I quote: "The runs can also be done with heroes and henchmen through flagging, with the player acting as the doorman. This variant is refered to as HFFF (Hero Fast Faction Farming).", so please stop trolling. We don't need to create a different article for every minor variant of this method, if all of them work essentially in the same way, and can be gathered together in the same place.--Fighterdoken 22:51, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
Nice I rest my case. The gods have decided ignoring the fact that that thousands of ppl hff . That people want this info.Azwildbill 23:42, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

- You're discussing this on a page called Fast faction farming. Also, noone is a god here. Grow up. --
Brains12 \ talk 23:11, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- The information is already available, if perhaps not in the detail you'd like. The only major dispute here is how many pages it needs. So far I've seen no compelling reason why every single variant needs to have its own separate page. I might support splitting it by faction, and certainly support some number of redirects based on what people would most likely be searching by. However, I would like to note it's hard to hold a dialogue with someone who doesn't seem willing to compromise in any fashion and whose only response to anyone who disagrees with him is to complain that people are hiding the information, particularly in light of the fact that the information existed here before you started making new pages. --Xylia 07:26, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Let see "grow up" is an insult on me personally u r in breach of your own rules.Azwildbill 23:14, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
1. What is your Definition of "stop trolling" 2.this is the perfect place to discuss this thus giving a detailed why is important for all the people that read this latter and want to add and content to this page Fast faction farming.Azwildbill 23:33, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- Definition needs context. For this case in particular, i am happy if you stop spamming the "won't do because the wiki gods yadayada" in every related page.
- Also, as you noted, THIS is the perfect place for this discussion, and the respective article is THE perfect place for including all the information about this method and minor variants. Adding such information in other places makes it redundant, and thus "removable".--Fighterdoken 23:37, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
I asked for the What is your Definition of "stop trolling" nice Azwildbill 23:42, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
Provide all your info first, split the article later if it turns out too big, imo. The only things I removed from this page were redundant "see discussion page" (you can always do that, on every page) and links to a guild page. We generally only link to official sources, or in rare cases big fansites. Linking to a guild's general homepage isn't that helpful. If you want to get your builds known, I'd guess PvXwiki is the place to go. - anja

- Content decisions on this wiki are generally based on concensus. If you want this article split into multiple articles, you can add {{split}} to the top of the page and try to convince people that separate articles are warrented. -- Gordon Ecker 09:06, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
- Since there already has been a violation of GWW:1RR, and there is an on going discussion about this, I believe it is safe to put {{disputed}} on this page. Take it off if the consensus is for it. --
People of Antioch 09:12, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
- Please also note that we do not explain how to do something or giving direct build information. You can give the general idea with some tips etc. but please refrain from saying send your hero XY to place YZ and something like this. Also remember that we want text and not the same messy content with 10 words per paragraph copied to multiple pages. poke | talk 09:55, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Something to address the matter about L/H and K/H
I love how people try denying the fact that people [HFFF], go to Lutgardis Conservatory and you'll see at least two districts there. The sad thing however Breaker Hollow isn't very popular to go to since there is usually 5-7 people there whenever I go =[. I did notice 5 times "at least" that the Kurzick and Luxon build was removed, newbies should see the build or look it up on [[2]]"Luxon" (Blood234 23:02, 3 August 2008 (UTC))
[edit] PvXWiki links
Instead of reverting, re-reverting, and re-re-reverting, start discussing why the links should or should not stay. I personally feel they're useful, and complement the article by providing links to builds which achieve what the article outlines. I don't see how having those links does any harm; it's not unusual to have external links which complement the article. --
Brains12 \ talk 01:09, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
- Well when I first added links I got reverted and was told not to put the builds to this page up, I wanted to but I was not allowed. Go for it, if these builds are to be allowed on; all I ask is that they will not be reverted. Blood
01:12, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
- The first revert was done because you posted the builds in the page (which GWW:BUILDS doesn't allow), but there is nothing really against links, so in theory they could stay. In any case, i would prefer if we could just point to a proper category in PvX (which i would guess exists or can be created) instead of linking to each and every relevant build in this article. After all, tomorrow someone could come and decide that "PvX build 001" sucks so he will post "PvX build 002" instead.--Fighterdoken 21:27, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
- That sounds like a good idea! I agree to that. --
