I would update it, but I don't know the format. Players also had to re-accept the EULA.71.50.50.244

Format is same as on the website, and the EULA note should be added. Calor (t) 20:19, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Hmm I didn't have to accept it.. -- Brains12Talk 20:21, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

I feel less special...[edit]

I feel less special now that the bonus pack is out... i liked pimping it up with my Tengu Sword and Shield... now that everyone has one... kinda dont feel so pimpy anymore... I guess I can say I am glad that I didnt have to pay anything extra for it... and I got to experience the special weekend trail before the release... but it just seems less special and important when you get somthing special and get a bonus offer for it... just to have that offer get extented to everyone else... kinda makes it less special... The biggest thing that will come out with all this... Weapon sales like the Ele sword crash... and Weapon Mod sales will soar. SabreWolf 21:09, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

The ele sword price already crashed, and is irrelevant to the BMP? Lord of all tyria 21:11, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
So awesome weapons that some people couldn't get, even trading, are good? BMP selling isn't bad, for anyone, no one gets his economy crushed, so QQ moar... --User rayd sig.pngRayd 21:14, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
More demand for something = prices go cheaper. -- Brains12Talk 21:30, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
More demand = prices go higher....--76.2.225.22 21:32, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) Double u tee eff? Supply and Demand. Oil prices are 3+ dollars a gallon, so that means there's no demand for it compared to 1.50 a gallon? Calor (t) 21:33, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Mixed up supply and demand. (guess what? economics has never been my strong point)-- Brains12Talk 21:36, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Wow ignore me. Having a specific hair coloured moment here. -- Brains12Talk 21:39, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
xD I need to remember that line. Awesome. - anja talk 21:52, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
its supply vs demand. neither of them determine the price, but both of them do. --Lou-SaydusHow dare you put that damned dirty thing on me! 03:38, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
Oil Prices are based on speculation, not on actual supply and demand. (reason for the sudden jump) Ele Sword Prices are based on ease of getting an ele sword. I got one out of HoS... that's easy, therefor cheaper swords. Now as for that silly spear you can only get in slaver's chests... That's got some serious figures on it. I also feel a bit taken in, seeing the bonus as not a bonus anymore. Oh well, whatever get's more money to fund GW2!, --Kyle van der Meer 05:15, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Exactly my point... no more BMP (sorry... its not a Bonus anymore ANET) so its not special anymore... and its more money for them in the bank for upkeep and GW2... oh well... at least mine is free. As for the economy in-game... You cant sell the weapons... but... The Weapon Mod sales will go way up now that people can obtain really cool naked weapons, staves and shields... they have to mod them to make it useful... so the +30 Grips, 15^50 and Sundering prices are going up since the demand will be up. Oil prices... thats from properganda of oil shortages, money hungery companies and an oil owner who is also a US president... but that getting political so lets not go there. SabreWolf 07:20, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Bonus is not because they were only available to a few amount of people, no, bonus because they are different from ALL other missions in GW and aren't really plot related but just background information about major NPCs. Sanderevers 12:24, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
No, it was Bonus because it was a free addition to any purchase of GW store stuff of $30 (I think?) or more. Being different doesn't make something a bonus. While I do agree that it is unfair, I don't think that weapon mod prices will skyrocket too much, since the whole point of things like Ele swords is to have a cool skin weapon that almost nobody else does...and if everyone suddenly has access to the Mission Pack, then it's not the coolest collection of items anymore. It certaintly isn't like the missions are challenging or anything =/ --Srakin 16:41, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

The bonus mission pack was a "Bonus" for those that spent atleast $X at the online store via Charactor Slots and other things. The timing of the "special" was during the Pre-Release of GW:EN... which from a marketing stand point, since the purches of GW:EN cleared the amount needed to qualify, and there was a time frame set for the money spent in the store was limited to near this time frame, it was ideal to by GW:EN from the on-line store and get the Bonus Mission Pack free. This was the "Bonus" for Bonus Mission Pack. But the other thing is... the amount to purches GW:EN was the same as buying it at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Ect... so ANET/NCSoft would also get the full amount of the money instead of shared revenue from retail stores. Now before people think I am flaming... I will say I am not, and I am explaining the marketing that ANET is doing/has done. As a comsumer I frown on it, but as looking at it from a marketing perspective, its what you gotta do, and people will buy it. With no monthly upkeep costs coming in, the money needs to come from somewhere... and with no new game pending release before GW2 (atleast none reported)... money has to come from somewhere, and this time is the "Bonus" Mission Pack. Was the EULA updated?[edit]

...or did players just need to re-accept it? → BROWNSPANK 15:34, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

It was updated, see Gaile News - anja talk 15:39, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
