Beating the mission[edit]

how to beat the mission...this game is getting crazy...too many missions...It is getting boring to play..becuz you are unable to win the mission. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.50.72.99 (talk • contribs) at 02:43 23 February 2007 (UTC).

From where does this quest begin?

I have found that as the writer of the article states pinning your team helps alot. the team i used was

Human Monk Human Mesmer

Hero: Dunkoro (smiting monk) Tahlkora (healing monk) Olias (MM) Zhed Shadowhoof (Ele Nuker) Melonni (Dervish) Koss (Warrior)

it is also worth noting that once you get into your worm you can run the rest of the mission if you are not looking to do the bonus. 86.135.200.175 05:31, 10 April 2007 (EDT)

Bonus[edit]

Noticed that if you talk to Queen Aijundu after saving one or more Junundu Young, the bonus counter reset. Unsure if it has any effect on reciving the bonus, since it didnt effect me when resetting from three Junundu Young saved to zero. 213.67.232.26 23:37, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

I had a similar experience. After saving two of the Junudu Young and then talking to the queen the counter read as 0 of 3. After saving the third I received a message saying I saved 3 of 3 and after completing the mission I received the Master's Reward. I suppose the counter reset is just a minor bug or glitch. Bug?[edit]

I finished killing all of her groups, and was standing around and Queen Aijundu did nothing. She just stood in the Sulpherous area and did nothing. She was allied too. User Tr33zon Signature.jpg Tr33zon (Talk - Contribs) 16:55, 15 September 2007 (UTC)

That is most likely caused by palawa joko not being there. If you run ahead at the beginning, he will just stand there. To fix this, approach him and return to the wurm spore. He will say his lines, after wich you can enter the wurms.--PyrAnkh 12:54, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

same hi is the
3 time now --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.142.76.182 (talk • contribs) at 16:41 17 April 2008 (UTC).

The same hapent to me. I think it was because i manged to kill Queen Aijundu before i killing Nehmak the Unpleasant & Amind the Bitter. --Frankie82 18:25, 2 december 2009 (UTC)

When entering a junundu with a pet, the pet entered as well, multiple times. This is contrary to other zones, ie: the quest right after this one, where the pet dies upon entering the junundu. If it matters, my pet was a lvl 19 jingle bear. Cocytus 23:47, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

HM[edit]

if u finish this in nm, then go do it again in hm (after u tamed the wurms) won't u be able to use the wurms to beat the queen? (considering u alrdy tamed them in nm) --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.246.170.187 (talk • contribs) at 17:51 23 February 2008 (UTC).

No, you cannot.--PyrAnkh 17:16, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

Hm is pretty easy to. Did it with heroes and henchman easily.217.121.213.138 21:52, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Long Mission?[edit]

I wouldn't call this a long mission, took me under 20 min bonus and all with H/H. 124.190.27.62 06:14, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Hard Mode[edit]

There is a somewhat annoying trio of rezzers when Chakeh the Lonely appears in Hard Mode. The Awakened Acolyte, and the Awakened Grey Giant and him all have moderately fast rez abilities between those three. If you can't interrupt them or get them all in some aoe maneuver or manage to spike them down before they rez they all rez each other. There are no HM remarks for this, but if there were this might be mentioned. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.28.229.121 (talk • contribs) at 13:57 23 May 2009 (UTC).

heh I brought 3 RoJ heroes, signet smiting stuff and also brought vocal minority + frozen soil. worked easily with little bit of microing. --File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 11:56, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Bonus walkthrough is unclear...[edit]

Do you have to return the Young Junundu to Queenie to get the bonus, or just "save" them and get the counter to 3? The note about the bonus counter resetting is kind of confusing randomly sitting on the page without the bonus mentioning you need to talk to Queenie. Anyone who knows, could you please edit the page to clarify? Thanks. --70.158.147.202 02:13, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

You do not need to return them to the Queen, you can continue towards the end of the mission - defeating the margonites around the young junundu will cause them to be "saved" - though I believe them dying causes the bonus to fail. - Revelation talk 06:49, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
I did the mission in hard mode yesterday. All three young died; I got masters' reward. --93.97.216.182 09:36, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

Note about MM[edit]

And it is already mentioned in the skill recommendations.--Lania Elderfire 15:44, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

oops[edit]

oh so it is the fault of the player that whole elona is conquered in gw2 oops --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 83.81.24.86 (talk • contribs) at 18:31 29 May 2010 (UTC).

Dispute over whether margonites do/do not attack baby wurms[edit]

"They do not attack the wurm [This is not true, at least not on HM][sic], so they are safe. "

The above comment was made by an anonymous IP. Does anyone have a different experience from what is described in the walkthrough? (i.e. are the wurms safe from the margonites? not safe? does the party need to pull the foes away from the babies? or not really necessary). (I don't have an opinion on this — I've always pulled, b/c I can ball up the foes easier in the various passages nearby the babies.)  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 02:07, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

This was the Zaishen mission today, the wurms do indeed get damaged, so they are either hit by AoE if not directly targetted, or attacked by margonites - I believe the one I checked had a condition towards the end of an engagement. However, their health does regenerate, and you can just wait before moving on for their health to return to full. - Revelation talk 06:48, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
The baby wurms can die by your hands/skills if you are not careful, as the page suggests. I've done it myself when charging in instead of pulling. G R E E N E R 07:53, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

Pets in wurms[edit]

During this mission pets can enter junundu like heroes, however they will not use skills and can't be ressed by wail (But if you leave the junundu they will be alive again and you can go back to a spore to put them back into a junundu) Worth adding to article? (Under bug or anomaly perhaps?) 87.195.101.155 19:34, 22 June 2011 (UTC)

I noticed this too when VQ the area today Lady Elyssa 01:07, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
I'm noticing the my pet dies the mintue I enter the wurms now from gates of desolation. if I exit the wurm the pet is alive, but the minute I enter the wurm pet dies. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.184.14.99 (talk • contribs) at 09:54, 4 July 2012 (UTC).
Did you mean during the mission? or when you exit the outpost? The mechanics are different for each. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 18:29, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
During the mission. --217.228.247.239 20:27, 4 July 2012 (UTC)

Unable to interact with Wurm Spoor[edit]

Hi - found a new bug today. Killed the two bosses and defeated the queen and all other initial enemies. Walked down the slope to the initial wurm spoor and tried to interact with it. Nothing happened. Had to restart :[

You need to wait for Palawa Joko to finish his dialogue. He can be a bit finicky about it. Next time it happens try approaching him, maybe running around a bit... he should get to it at some point. Wish I could narrow it down to a more exact science. - Alexis Toran (talk) 13:07, 10 December 2014 (UTC)
Palawa Joko is nowhere to be seen for me. I cannot interact with the wurm spur, and this is just stupid! Aijunundu is definitely friendly with me. I guess I have to do this nonsense again.  :( --70.32.0.134 22:09, 25 September 2019 (UTC)

I waited for 20 minutes. If he didn't finish his dialogue by then I guessed it needed a restart
