is it just me or is this outpost insanely pointless Hvymtlrocks 04:19, 18 December 2008 (UTC)hvymtlrocks

It's just an optional place to visit, much like how it is in Prophecies. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 03:23, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
I just learned that this outpost even existed. Wanted to cap Onslaught and saw this as a start point for the boss and was like...wtf did they seriously choose an explorable area as a start point for the map? I checked my map and realized the circles on it designated towns, aka i have one more to unlock if thats true. The things you learn when you actually play the game instead of just crying about it being stagnant ;-) The irony ofcoarse being the fact this town is a ghost town, forgive the pun! I'm a big fan of puns. +10 pts for you. Ironically, years after launch, I just realized there was an outpost I did not have. So much nostalgia, but yes it is ultimately pointless. It did however complete the top left of my Realm of Torment map, which I thought was a curious blank space for nearly a decade. Puk (talk) 03:44, 12 July 2015 (UTC)

Nightfallen Lands?[edit]

Seems odd that, when the title implies a plural, there's only one exit from this outpost: to Nightfallen Jahai. Perhaps it was originally intended also to join up with the Nightfallen Garden and Nightfallen Coast (also not entirely implemented) zones, thus allowing them to still be explored even after the real areas have been returned to their original state. You could go through the portal into a different "Nightfallen land" depending on which of the three bridges in the outpost you had crossed, or something like that. It would also give this outpost an actual use. NuclearDuckie 04:20, 5 July 2010 (UTC)

I think that's a stretch -- especially considering "lands" is a common label for any large-enough contiguous area. 98.176.34.215 18:50, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
If you walk to the back of the outpost after entering you can look across the nothingness and see further "lands", I assumed this to be the plural. Puk (talk) 03:46, 12 July 2015 (UTC)
