I've yet another request, There was an Echo Shadowform Mod to show when to use echo'd copy. Would it be possible to do the same for SpellBreaker? Will Run 03:09, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
I'm not really sure where to ask this but I'm interested in having a mod made. I find that reading player's names on the PvP field can be quite difficult at times. Having the visibility of names improved would be vastly helpful. If anyone knows of an existing mod or can create a mod like this for me, please contact me on my talk page. —♥Jedi♥Rogue♥ 21:50, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- Text is generated automatically, and can't be modified with a texture switch. It may be possible to utilize the distance fade to make a minor adjustment, but it's doubtful.--Pyron Sy 00:46, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Links
Stop editting that the link of Cartography Made Easy is dead plz... cuz it still works fine to me, it's always possible that the server is down for an hour or even a day, instead of directly editing that the link is dead, post a comment by discussion plz.. thx 78.23.70.254 15:26, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you. Yes, mediafire has the unfortunate tendency to "lose" account information for a couple of hours. However once their servers realign themselves everything's better again.--Pyron Sy 18:22, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Has anyone found a way of placing treasure chests on the mini-radar yet? this would make chest runs easier
- Since chests are placed randomly, there's no way to place them on the mini map. All that can be done to ease chest running is to paint the chests themselves a bright neon green or some other easy to spot color.--Pyron Sy 20:01, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- The guy's talking about treasure chests in nightfall that you can open monthly to give you free gold& other goodies.--68.116.156.71 05:24, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
It appears that "Luxon HFFF Aid" has a dead link though not completely sure someone else please verify that it still works ty. Uraniumjoint 07:11, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Cartography made easy edits
I know there are real computer geniuses out there somewhere can you fix the mod so there's not so many glitches with map overlaps in water, backgrounds, and sometimes the screen goes white, whenever the map is overlapping my screen or it's white I have to minimize GW and then bring it back up...really annoying, I imagine, it shouldn't be too dificult to fix this if you're a genius on the topic.--Ʀєʟʟɑ 05:27, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- The problems you're describing are not problems with the mod. It's an inherent issue with Texmod, and you will see similar issues regardless of which mod you run. Granted, the cartography mods are more likely to cause the issue due to the amount of texture edits required to run them, but I've seen complaints of this same problem out of the Dark Glass mod as well. Please keep in mind that Texmod is a beta program, and issues will arise from its use.--Pyron Sy 10:21, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

I'm having trouble loading the Cartography textures. They used to work fine, when I ran Windows XP, but now I have upgraded to Vista, and the textures don't load in-game. The only things I can think of that have changed are: DirectX10, instead of 9, and: I used to used Omega Nvidia drivers, but now I use the current regular Nvidia ones. I have searched forums for days for an answer, and get none, other than disabling the UAC, which I've already done for other reasons. Thanks in advance. The Shaded Blade 23:27, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
I'm just wondering, is there an estimate as to how many people are using "Cartography Made Easy"? Because i'm thinking of using it, but i'm still weary of it stealing my account...not that i'm uber or anything. 86.25.1.73 18:16, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- used it long enough to get max cartho and my account is still there under my control^^ Fox007

- There have been over 50,000 downloads for each campaign.--Pyron Sy 18:54, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
- Also, if you make sure the download is a .tpf, and that the Texmod client is real, it's not possible to steal your account. I have also used them to get 100% on 2 continents and nothing has happened. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Farlo (talk).

Tried to download tpf. file for Canthan, wouldn't work. I tried Tyria + EOTN file, that worked fine. Anyone else had this? 86.25.7.11 20:46, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
- Mediafire occasionally has hiccups where files are temporarily unavailable. Cantha is now working again.--Pyron Sy 22:12, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
There was a Javascript error in this process, try another browser or contacting support" It won't let me download anything from the Cartography made easy files :/
- It's working fine for me.--Pyron Sy 22:50, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
Who do i contact if i found a black spot in cantha? Edit never mind found it.(Ixillius 11:16, 10 June 2009 (UTC))
[edit] Fog remover
Could someone create a mod which completely removes fog rather than merely making it transparent? -- Gordon Ecker 21:30, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- I've found the textures for the fogged maps: 90821...90824 for the Battle Isles, 90825 for pre-Searing, 90827...90841 and 90876 for Tyria, 90843...90849 for Cantha and 90855...90865 for Elona. -- Gordon Ecker 03:14, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
I just wanted to remark to whoever made the Cartography edit-in case you didn't know, the Elona .tpf file is no longer hosted by the site that you had hosted. If someone could fix this, I'd be really thankful.
- Link updated.--Pyron Sy 20:38, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Drunkard Title
Is it possible to create a mod that will show if the character is drunk (enough for the gathering point towards the title). Like a small sign "YOU ARE DRUNKKKKKK.....". I know u can see with post-processing turned on but i also know that none of us is using post-processing when going for the title. --DBorG 09:31, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not sure if it would be. You'd have to try to find the texture that messes with your "vision". If they created such a texture, then it probably would be. It might just be an effect, thus not having a texture that Texmod could capture.
- There are no textures associated with drunkard. This is an impossible project with texmod.--Pyron Sy 10:32, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Health bar percentage indicators
All the mods that have this change the entire UI. Any chance we could get one that changes the health bars to show 50%, etc. without changing the rest of the UI?
[edit] LA to Drok's mod
Hey, please can you leave feedback for my mod? Fire Staff
- Looks pretty good. There is a texture misalignment over Snake Dance, but other than that it looks graphically sound. I would recommend maybe marking the higher risk areas of the run, such as knockdown heavy sections.--Pyron Sy 21:03, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Mod Interactions
Thought this might be useful to some folks, I spent ages wondering why some mods didn't seem to work correctly til I realised they might be affecting each other. In particular, there's an odd interaction between Pyron's carography mods and the Meta_S interface mod, such that the Cartography mods need to be order above Meta_S when loaded into Texmod. Also found that FFF mods need to come above both of them too. When I'm running all together at the moment, my order must be as follows:
- FFF_Aid
- <cartography mod / mods as required>
- Meta_S_Interface
If the meta_s goes before the cartography mods, the edges of the mapped areas become foggy / blurred, rather than the hard thick lines one would usually expect from the carography mod. --BramStoker (talk, contribs) 12:29, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
- The reason for this is that the mods are trying to change the same texture. The topmost mod in the list takes priority on texture interaction. Since FFF and cartography both affect the map, then fff will only show when placed in higher priority than cart mods. I'm assuming the Meta_S mod does something to the fog texture, which affects the edges of the cart mod also. This will happen whenever you have two mods that alter the same thing.--Pyron Sy 14:26, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
[edit] vanquisher made easy
would it be possible to make a mod that edits the mission map and makes the enemies change clolour on the mission map or would you have to hack it and remake the mission map all together? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:116.240.247.254 (talk).
- You can't because most enemies only spawn when you get near them Compass Range So even if it would be possible to show them on the mission map you will only see those close nearby. Fox007
10:17, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
- no but i mean like for the few you miss, they would of spawned and then they would be there so they would appear --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:116.240.246.175 (talk).
- There is no way to add enemy tracking to the mini map. I highly doubt there's anything that could be modded in order to make vanquishing easier, short of replacing all enemies with a neon pink texture to make them stand out like a sore thumb.--Pyron Sy 02:01, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Removal of Glazed UI due to keylogger??
What proof of keylogger? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:58.179.218.186 (talk).
- Looks like the usual false positive. The download links directly to the tpf file, which does no contain any keyloggers. The link has been replaced.--Pyron Sy 17:04, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Meta's Improved Interface
Anyone happen to know who the creator is? Or does anyone know how to extract the modifications used in it? I've been working on my own interface for a while, but it's a rather long and annoying process, and most of it has been spent mimicking what is already in the Meta interface. Cedave 00:10, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
- I can't answer your first question, and have bad news for the second. Once a mod is compiled, there is no way to extract the information out of it. If you want to make a mod using pieces of the Meta interface, you'll have to piece it together on your own.--Pyron Sy 00:34, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
- My wild guess is that Meta is the creator of Meta's Interface. Extracting things from GW is the easiest part...it took me less than 10 minutes to extract all the major UI components of the game. Photoshopping them is 99% of mod making. ~Shard

[edit] Using several textmodd addons at once..
any way to do this? I've got a few i'd like to run at the same time...(cartographers, for example) --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Personn5 (talk).
- Just add them one at a time. You can run several at once.--Pyron Sy 23:30, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
- Note: If you have any tpfs that modifiy the same graphics, the one higher in the list will override. I made a skill-border mod I don't like very much, but still want to use the compass-glass remover I put in the package, so I put Clearskills above StarFoo :). --Star Weaver 01:07, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Legendary armor
how do you get legNDERY ranger armor --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:99.247.248.116 (talk).

[edit] FFF
FFF Aid Map of Melandru's Hope area is changed to visualize destination spots of FFF run.
FFF Hero Aid
since they have made changes to the area, i believe these two should be taken down from the site. nobody can do the FFF anymore without killing the luxon so it is no longer faster.75.22.183.97 22:26, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Resign button
Is it possible to implement a resign button in the interface ? biggest timesaver ever if its possible ? 82.224.68.40 11:17, 25 October 2009 (UTC) randomplaya
- Texmod can't add new buttons. It can only change the way existing buttons look.--Pyron Sy 15:31, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
- You can essentially make a resign button using AutoHotkey or the like. Just bind a key to enter /resign for you. ··· Danny Pew Pew 18:27, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
- Good thinking, you could even set up one of your many mouse/keyboard buttons to resign instantly at the click of a button....... T1Cybernetic
