Town holding alliances[edit]

Does anyone know if a guest invite to a guild holding a town in Factions allows you access to that towns, guild area, and thereby the cheaper merchants inside. Anon-e-mouse 13:56, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

They can't. Only members of that guild(and alliance, i think) Can use the Towns that are controlled. 216.119.178.127 07:50, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Shouldn't this be notes on the Cons section? 71.129.51.88 05:03, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
Added, even though I think it's kind of obvious. Someone can feel free to remove it. --Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig.png (Talk) 05:39, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

Duration[edit]

Says 8 hours in-game, but definitely lasts longer than that (it sits at 0 minutes remaining for a long time). This article says 8 hours in one place and a day in another; I'm inclined to believe the latter is correct. ¬ Wizårdbõÿ777(talk) 01:41, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Pretty sure it's a day, I've had guest invites last for pretty close to 24 hours before (a surprise to me and the inviter, actually). Vili User talk:Vili 03:33, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

What for?[edit]

The guest invite has always seemed pretty pointless to me, more so now that there are "spies" NPCs in the AB outposts.--Will Greyhawk 06:10, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

When the 1 day guesting time is over, what happens?[edit]

If the guest is still inside the Guild Hall when the 24h time limit expires, is the guest's character automatically kicked from the map? If yes, where will they return to?

What if they are currently in a HA game? When exactly will they lose the "advantages"? --175.141.47.51 06:15, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
