Names[edit]

I know this is a common bug in the game from a loading error but I have found when I was VQ this area there was an Outcast Assassin with the name Reef Lurker I have a screenshot but don't know how to upload it - Giant Nuker 12:27, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Near the portal to Rhea's Crater there is a sort of centipede in a block of jade but is is not the one mentioned on the page. what is it?

You mean these? The Leviathans are probably the most interesting thing in the Jade Sea to me. Centipedes are generally not aquatic, and yet here we have giant ones, fairly close to the surface of the sea, apparently before it was petrified. Guildwarsrunner 05:48, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Vanqing[edit]

194foes, 49min, vanq/mapping, h/h. Only thing to watchout for is patrols ganking you. Even so you will probably still not wipe. Pretty easy zone with LOTS of boss foes on it for good faction. If you cant find the last few foes just keep searching becuase it will be a patrol. I missed 2 boss mobs and a couple smaller ones myself. Note about it being best to map the zone inside the mission is trash, you still have to fight foes on that gimic path. Im not saying its not quicker, just that its a pointless note since anyone specifically trying to map can do the zone in normal mode in under 15min without a doubt. Saving 5min on a character that never has to map again is lol. I spent more time typing this paragraph then a person would save doing the mission way. Justice 20:31, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

  • Mostly agreement with this paragraph - 199 foes, just over 50 min to vanq with h/h. Fairly straightforward vanq with few problems. A young friend of mine boasted of having vanquished this area in approximately 6 minutes with a friend of his recently. While his boast is completely absurd, he said that they had few problems here as well. ~Ecks

Bounties[edit]

Except for the resurrection shrine at the exit into Leviathan Pits, all shrines are unmanned! You cannot get bounties at them. This poses a problem for vanquishing in the rare cases that Leviathan Pits is in Kurzick hand, as it is right now. -- Kur Nt, 93.222.232.244 22:30, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

I too am mildly annoyed by lack of NPC's at every shrine but the one that is currently kurzick controlled... also annoying is the fact i decided to go clockwise around the outside and got to rhea's and forgot about the bridge then proceeded to run back the long way to get back to clear the middle....oops 71.181.119.183 01:33, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

Vanqing[edit]

Hostile enemies[edit]

At the end of vanquishing there was a 30-40 enemies difference between my vanquish counter and Kurzick bounty, so that many enemies were killed by each other. Jacqui The Reaver was also killed by other enemies. -- kazerniel (talk) 18:46, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
