Talk:Heal Party

This skill was fine at 2 seconds cast time for the larger heal party-wide heal. What's the point of Holy Haste now besides pairing it with Ethereal Light? --Cjad the Nord 20:47, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

0.5½ sec cast time Heal Party? Half is still half. — Galil Talk page 20:51, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
The new update decreased the casting time, so that should be fixed. quite interesting, though..... Wandering Traveler 22:21, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
I think this will still be used just as much with Healer's Boon, the reduced cast time means Monks can drop Holy Haste for an extra skill now if needed. I don't think the healing reduction will make much difference. --User Jioruji Derako logo.png Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 00:32, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
true. I see this used mainly with Healer's Boon, so it shouldnt be too much of a problem. Wandering Traveler 15:56, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Concise Description[edit]

Ok, this is a bit weird. They left in the redundant word "entire" and took out a vital word "Health".

Spell. Heals entire party for 30...66...75.

Should be changed to.

Spell. Heal party for 30...66...75 Health.

Leaving Health out for Entire is just silly imo. SniperFox 12:04, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

maybe some people thought it was heal their energy or something? lmao >.<Close Impact 12:54, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
neither are vital words - Spell. Heal party for xxx. - is what it should be

lil glitch[edit]

my monk's bar is: Patient spirit, dwayna's kiss, ethereal light, seed of life, dismiss condition, healers boon, glyph of lesser energy and the this.. every 7 except heal party have a lil number in their skill icon on my skillbar(1,2,3,...) except this one, it has no 8 :o 78.20.153.111 15:46, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

actually, i have this with most of my skillbars ....78.20.153.111 10:25, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
If on your key mappings (F10) you have a letter instead of the number being first in line for that skill number, the number will not be shown. Justin6 User Justing6 Justing6 siggypic.png 04:08, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Minions[edit]

Are minions considered party of the party? If so, it should heal minions as well?

No, minions are allies.

Heros[edit]

Is it just me or do heros not use this skill at all? I have this on my healing monk's bar, but I've yet to see him use it once.

I did the following: equipped Tahlkora, Dunkoro and Ogden with "Heal Party" and "Light of Deliverance" (all other skills disabled, and set to "avoid combat"). I then went with my ele to the Plains of Jarin and let the group around Suneh Stormbringer attack me. My heroes just stood there, staring holes into the sky and let me die. :-( It didn't matter if they were inside the aggro bubble or not. Only when they were attacked themselves did they use "Heal Party" and "Light of Deliverance" after having their health reduced to 60% - 70%. Under these circumstances this is a really serious bug. --Kali The Devourer 00:19, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

I believe it is programmed so that they don't try to use it as a spot heal - that is, they should use it just fine as long as multiple people have taken damage to relieve pressure (which is when you would use it anyways). It's not really a "bug," because the situation you were in was simulated, and not indicative of a real PvE situation. --click moar Mafaraxas 00:54, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
could also be they see this skill as a "heal self" skill 68.202.136.112 02:31, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
Heroes being programmed to use this and light of deliverance and the two DF copies of LoD as "self heals" only seems about right. I've had a couple of my Dunkoro's bars set up with LoD and Heaven's Delight, and he never touches either in any situation. Though, for me he doesn't seem to use it when he's taken damage either even if it's on the far left. Heal Party I never put on my heroes, I personally hate the skill, but I see it on lots of other people's hero bars untouched. 'Course, heroes spam as fast as they can, so when this skill might be remotely helpful there's no way they still have 15 energy (and likely already wasted GoLE or pick your favorite mez spell). Auspicious Incantation?[edit]

"Inside the aggro bubble"[edit]

Whose aggro bubble? The player that has control of the hero, any player, any other party member? -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 15:30, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

I think he/she meant that a hero won't use it unless there are wounded party members within the hero's aggro bubble, even though the range of Heal Party is bigger than the aggro bubble. I just tested it with Tahlkora and she used it as soon as two or more party members within range of the skill got under ~80%, so that's probably not what he/she meant. Haruno MidoriUser HarunoMidori signature img.png 20:15, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
It probably is what he/she meant, sounds like it was just wrong. Two sections above there's a nother discussion about when heroes will use this skill. Sounds like there has to be at least two party members in need of healing for them to use it. Thanks for testing. -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 20:32, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
