Talk:Highly salvageable
From Guild Wars Wiki
This is incorrect about hilghly savagables in Golds and Purples, I managed to get a highly salvagable Gold wepeon once.

- I once got a gold with the "Measure for Measure" ins. But the thing about it that confuses me is that I got it from the Zaishen Chest, I thought that highly salvageable was a PvE only trait. I didn't think about getting a screenshot of it, but if it comes up again then I will be sure to take one. Steve 23:15, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
- PvE-only probably means that you can't make a PvP weapon with that inscription. 86.137.70.195 16:38, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Moved from article
- Valdil Steelheart - I salvaged 5 Ruby Daggers with Inscription "Measure for Measure" in a row, but I received only 1 Ruby. So In my opinions there is a 20% chance to get the ruby. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:83.9.75.64 (talk).
[edit] Increase Rare Salvage Chance
I guess to confirm this you could purchase 10 steel daggers from the Weapons NPC in Kaineng and inscribe them with this inscription and get 10 without the inscription. Salvage them all and see if the inscription affected the chance of a rare salvage, not just the quantity. This is of course expensive - and still not as extensive as you might like, but more precise than just salvaging different weapons with different values and rarities with all the guess work and inaccuracies. I would do it but I'm not that rich. Too bad collector items aren't inscribable, (but they would probably be fine for the control group). 122.104.161.96 20:02, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
[edit] More Circumstantial Evidence
I added "Measure for Measure" to a Jeweled Chakram (metal) expecting to get increased glittering dust or iron ingots, I got steel instead.
- Whenever I add "Measure for Measure" to Jeweled/Ruby/etc weapons, I always get a gem. When I salvage things which are "Highly Salvageable", I usually get steel. Vili
