is it possible to have more than 10 degen?
- Appearantly... AyaStowar
- No. — Skuld 23:32, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- Degen caps at -10, more degen can counter regeneration, but won't surpase the cap (see Health regeneration) (oh fck edit conflict >.>) --Rayd 23:33, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- You can have any amount of degen, but it's capped at 10. Higher numbers just counteract any regen. For example, if you get hit with 20 degen, only 10 will affect you. But if you get hit with Healing breeze for +9, the result is a -11 degen, so the end result is still 10 degen affecting your character.--Pyron Sy 23:34, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- That's odd...the skill description is for -15 degen..A-Net doesn't even known the max degen amount. : ( AyaStowar
- You're not even listening. Fact: this skill causes 15 degen. Fact: the degen cap is 10. — Skuld 23:44, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- I believe the idea is so even if someone has Ice Breaker on, they still have max degen. - Tanetris 23:46, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 100%
+ You're a Mean One, Mr. Grenth = Fail
Accidentally activating this skill while on a quest with no resurrection shrines would suck. It's an easy mistake since it's right next to Ice Fort. --Sinharath 05:52, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
- Definitely, I made that mistake a number of times on ALL of the Wintersday quests, a few time right near the end... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.61.246.149 (talk • contribs) at 18:10, 27 December 2007 (UTC).
- yeah, it in fact sucks when doing the quests - i made exactly that mistake last year. It's like /resign by only hitting one button. —Zerpha

- Just go to your Skills and Attributes Panel and move Holiday Blues to a different slot, so you don't accidentally activate it. --Silver Edge 13:24, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Okay, sorta funny but not quite
Does anyone else find the entire suicide allusion a bit distasteful? I kind of laughed but felt bad when I did. Wolvenmoon 03:12, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- Blood is Power, Blood Ritual... Ever heard of Necromancers before? Paddymew 12:40, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
- No, he's referring to the (alleged) statistical increase in rates of depression and suicides around holidays, especially Christmas. It's a brilliant concept for the Necro holiday skill. It's also rather brazenly morbid, because the real-life allusion is much more serious than BiP/BR (which basically equate to depressed teenagers cutting themselves and grinning). For my part I am quite amused, but I have issues. -- AudreyChandler 10:14, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- I got that, but people cutting themselves all the time seems quite morbid to me too. I just find it amusing that your suicide spreads holiday blues among your enemies... Like when the Veldrunner Centaur boss dies in Kodonur Crossroads and you get a morale boost. Paddymew 10:17, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Deaths
The Survivor title may not be in jeopardy anymore. During The Strength of Snow, I just accidentally hit that nasty hot key and did not increase my death count. I haven't played the PvP snowball fights, so cannot say if it makes a difference. 76.30.79.54 17:19, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- That's certainly very interesting. The survivor page states that it should do. It could be a flaw in the game mechanics, which do not count insta-kills to be deaths, and saccing 100% is an insta. I doubt that, but it could be the case. --Saberhagen
