Shadow Step for Exploration[edit]

It probably didn't work due to the limitations of the shadow step mechanic, but I tried to use Recall to get to the banishment area. Took 5 heroes and the 2 warrior henchies, cast Recall on one of the henchies, went across the bridge to the NW corner of the battle area, and then flagged my H/Hs to attack Shiro. The hench was banished, but the recall enchantment simply ended and I shadow stepped just a few feet. Posted the attempt here for any other ideas along this line. Recall would only work if you actually had an accessable walking path to your hero - which you do not. Chieftain Alex 08:27, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
I figured that was the mechanic that kept the trick from working. Still hoping that others may know more tricks along these lines that my work. Lord Flynt 22:34, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

The suggested henchman list[edit]

I'm assuming it's for NM, right? It worked in HM but not for Master's, though I was able to do that after going secondary necro with rank 12 Blood Magic and Spoil Victor. I was able to time it right after he cast Impossible Odds, and I think he killed himself just in those 10 seconds even though not all of my party was alive at the time, much less standing next to him. 67.246.60.56 02:42, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

"Deep Wound can be very useful if managed carefully."[edit]

Doesn't deep wound only lower bosses' hp by 100?Saxazax (talk) 01:35, 15 November 2017 (UTC)

and would the healing from meditation of the reaper be affected by dw? sounds ineffective --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Saxazax (talk).
DW lowers health by 20%, not sure why you'd think it was only 100. Also, meditation of the reaper isn't healing, it's life stealing. Unless something says "healing" it's not affected by healing modifiers: mechanically, "gain x health" is different to "healed for x health". Loggy (talk) 03:09, 15 November 2017 (UTC)
"Deep wound will never reduce your maximum health by more than 100 health" from https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Deep_Wound Saxazax (talk) 17:04, 15 November 2017 (UTC)
Interesting - I never knew that! Then yeah, I'd question the point of DW too. Sure it's 100 instant damage, but it'll get transferred via impossible odds, so that might backfire a bit... Loggy (talk) 20:50, 15 November 2017 (UTC)
We should separate the game mechanics from the misc. notes, so stuff like this is up front and center. Example. --Falconeye (talk) 23:36, 15 November 2017 (UTC)
