Poop skill.--Fallen 01:12, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

it isnt that bad good way to deal bleed and real quick recharge.

in combination with wild strike and death blossom, you can spam an attack chain repeatedly without the use of any elites, namely mobieus strike.
So can Golden Fox Strike...

I wish this could get buffed... my idea was "Deals +1...7...10 damage and causes Bleeding for 5...17...20 seconds." Recharge increased to 3 seconds

With it's low recharge, this skill can be used quickly on a good number of foes. Nicoli20 03:29, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

In its current form it's best used with other skills that require an attack skill to function, such as Ebon Dust Aura and Grenth's Grasp.--Underwood 05:52, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

will it cover the more valueable condition if used with above said skills? 84.109.173.72 19:45, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

that depends, does those skills apply before or after the attack skill, if after then blind and cripple get covered--67.70.68.195 21:14, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

What happens when used with Sharpen Daggers? - Xinlum

It would seem natural that whatever effect lasts longer is applied, since the other will merely refresh it. Paddymew 11:11, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

August Update Changed Functionality...[edit]

...but I tested it out and the new functionality isn't applying. --Ulterion 23:16, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

yea i checked out the skill and its still attacking like normal, not its quick 1/2 second, in either pve or pvp

New functionality seems to be working for me, I gotta say though, this skill is like superpowered now XD72.199.117.151 17:38, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Strange but true[edit]

You know there's something here that assassins don't want when even a skill which inflicts bleeding the quicker and with a recharge shorter than any other in the game is still overlooked by many. --Ckal Ktak 21:41, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

English motherfucker, do you speak it? --79.188.206.150 22:15, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

OP[edit]

as hell 195.26.245.7 11:48, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Whats OP about it? 86.1.180.54 12:52, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
It means "over powered" which the skill seems to be since the update. Half activation time = no afterattack delay = baaad. ~ WELL HELLO Chao 19:41, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
eh, not really imo. your sacrificing +damage, and probably some utility for it. while bleeding does more in the long run, generally it will either get removed, or if your sin does his job they will be dead anyways and there won't really be time for the bleeding to sink in. I don't think it needs a buff or anything, but I think it's fine as is. Roflmaomgz 18:10, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
A half-second-cast dagger attack is what's considered OP about it. The quicker you get through your Lead and Off-Hand, the faster you can get Dual Attacks off, which is basically where the real power of assassins comes from. --Kyoshi (Talk) User Kyoshi sig.png 18:13, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
It's OP because it inflicts a condition that does 5 energy worth of damage or costs 5 energy to remove and has no activation time or recharge. Oh, and it counts as a lead attack. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 0:59, 23 Aug 2010 (UTC)

Activation and recharge[edit]

In-game there is no activation time listed. Is the time listed here outdated or is it based on some research? If the latter, an explanation is warranted. The recharge time is the same as it appears in game, 1 second. However, I'm curious as to how this interacts with attack speed. If daggers ordinarily attack every 1 1/3 seconds, doesn't the recharge time on this skill effectively mean nothing? Unless you are using an IAS that brings the dagger speed under 1 second. 76.253.0.17 21:36, 17 July 2011 (UTC)

Uh, what are you talking about? With my GW .dat file fully up to date, I'm sitting here looking at my sin's bar and Jagged Strike clearly has a listed activation time of 1/2 second (which is really 1/4 second, but that's details).
The recharge time just means you can't keep hitting Jagged Strike over and over again, like you could with Repeating Strike. Not that I'm sure why you'd want to do that...It also means if Jagged Strike is blocked or misses or whatever, you have a very short wait of about 1 attack before you can try to combo again. 67.180.237.90 21:42, 17 July 2011 (UTC)
I'll have to double-check to see if perhaps something is wrong with my client. I haven't purchased the skill yet and was going by what was listed in the skill trainer, so perhaps that has something to do with it. And again, if the claimed activation time here is different (whether it's actually 0 or 1/4 seconds) from what's listed in the game, shouldn't there be an explanation as to why that is or how it was determined? 65.118.124.124 23:14, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
