Maybe this is one of the great dragons in GW2?Mehtis 13:51, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

That was a theory I had not too long ago: Glint, Crystals, Earth. Kunnavang, had some lightning skills, Air. Maybe this thing is Water, and the thing trapped in Drakkar Lake is Fire? Though, the dragon thing at the end of Ogden's Benediction would make more sense for Fire.. maybe of of 'em is Chaos? --Valentein 22:29, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
I would like to add that Glint and Kuunivang "dont count" for this, they were young and weak dragons, while these are many times older and more powerful. We pretty much guess the dragon of Orr is Death, Primordius is fire (based on location and his strongest general) I am not sure, but if we assume that the deep sea dragon is water, that leaves earth and air. as the Drakkar one either has to swim or fly, my vote is that Drakkar is Air and that this "Water Dragon" is earth. OFC i could be very, very wrong...Killer Revan 23:39, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Read the article in the PCGamer about GuildWars 2. It explains all about the dragons.--§ Eloc § 18:56, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Hardly unnoticable --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:66.31.163.22 .

I think the Drakkar dragon is related to water as it has flippers and a paddle like tail. Also adding to the water element argument is when Jora's brother is corrupted by 'something under the lake' his bear form develops those ice spikes. I assume it was the dragon that corrupted him. -Lucci Slevin

Is he found south of doomlore shrine?--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Kharilus (talk).

He's the big thing in the middle of the water in this image Charr Homelands map.jpg Eloc 22:24, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

According to Guru his name is Grothmar, corresponding to the location he is at, such as Drakkar is named because he is encased in Drakkar's Lake.84.92.16.13 13:57, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

I think it is the opposite; the areas name is Grothmar Wardowns because the Ancient Dragon Grothmar resides in it, and the area Drakkar Lake is called so because Drakkar resides in the middle of the lake, frozen. 217.132.137.66 18:02, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Wow...and we'll have to kill this thing? ITS HUGE!

I don't think its the water dragon, apparantly it flies south 'tainting the land with the wind from its wings and corrupting the creatures with its foul breath' past ascalon and into the crystal desert. so this SHOULD be called the desert dragon.
It's called the water dragon because the original concept art picture of it, from back in '06 or '07, was labeled 'water dragon'. As inaccurate as the name may be, it's technically an official name from aNet, and therefore we are forced to call it such. Silavor UserSilavorSigIcon.png 09:12, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

Hello Kralkatorrik[edit]

From [1] Auslander 17:05, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

Heh, did anyone else immediately think of "Krakatoa" when they saw this name? :P

I did ^^ Yay Killing Charr 18:06, 25 February 2010 (UTC)

gods arrival[edit]

where does the info about dragons going dormant before gods arrived come from? I just assumed they delt with the dragons before bringing man to tyria or something. Not to mention its said the dragons power rivals the gods, how would that even be a fact if they hadnt met before? I dont know just some thoughts. Justice 19:38, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
