Kits n Stuff?

Consumable says various kits are consumables but none of them are listed here, which is a major destination from Consumable. Dunno what should be done. Thanks. --Star Weaver 20:35, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

You may want to have a look at Category:Consumable icons, i tried to categorize all the subtypes sensible there for the accordant icons. —ZerphaThe Improver 21:01, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Re-organization

If the purpose of the page is to answer the question, what consumables are available to me from each campaign?, then let's re-organize into

• 4 campaigns (eotn, proph, NF, Factions)
• Special events (holiday items)
• Other core (kits, zaishen items)
• Guild Wars Beyond (WiK and the tbd items from the next installments).

Alternatively, if the question is, what kinds of consumables are available in the game?, then shouldn't we organize by type?

Here are the issues I see with the current format:

• There's an acquisition column; this implies source, making the current headers redundant.
• Gift of the Traveler has its own section. Shouldn't each of the following get their own section? Huntsman Gifts, Royal Gifts, Sack of Random Junk, Paper-wrapped parcels.
• Lots of items have multiple sources. Do we list them in each section? Only once? Most confusing is honeycombs (avail in EotN (collector/quest), GotT (core), and GotH (pre-Searing)).
• The current format has to be adjusted each time ANet adds new sources (especially if items become available from multiple sources). Organizing by type means we can transclude the list from elsewhere (so that the page doesn't require updating).

Whether we re-organize or not, the following items are missing from the list (divided by source, per current article). Please feel free to add to the list (or strike out items as they are added.) EotN

• Perfect Salvage Kit

New sources (need own section in current format)

• Gift of the Huntsman (to be parallel to GotT)
• Royal Gift (its consumables are listed under War in Kryta, which is not parallel to GotT)
• Paper Wrapped Parcel
• Sack of Random Junk
