can someone tell me if you're the last surviving party member in ra or ta and u die while holding this does it still count as a loss even though your team was rezzed??????

You will lose. poke | talk 21:05, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Pets? it says that all nearby party members will be rezed but do the pets not count as party members, i tried to ressurect my party's pets and we were then...pet-less.

Pets are not party members. They are considered "Allies". Arachanox 04:54, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

In PvE, will the "You will be ressurected in..." timer appear if the last party member that died held this? Paddymew 14:24, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

It does, but if your party is rezed before it ends it will go away.

[edit] Feb 5th Update

What's the point bringing this skill now that FS stops it? Sure we can precast but meh. Aro 01:47, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

The update did not change how Frozen Soil worked at all. It just changed its description. Vili User talk:Vili 01:51, 7 February 2009 (UTC) ANet is inconsistent. >.> Vili User talk:Vili 01:25, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
You can rez yourself if you die, and you can precast, plus it's an aoe rez.

[edit] wipe in pve

if i understand the update correctly, i could bring this while solo trapping UW and if i died i wouldn't be sent back? 66.66.95.26 20:49, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Theoretically, yes, but I'd rather you spend your platinum to try it than me... :p Vili User talk:Vili 01:25, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
So what's the answer ? Tiberium 17:07, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
The answer is for you to walk into a non-EotN mission without a party while using this skill to see if it saves you. Paddymew 20:58, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
If you have a res shrine it will save you, because of the countdown, if not (like for UW) you will lose.
Yup, just checked at Tahnnakai Temple. Once you go down you get "mission failed" and don't even get rez'd, actually. - VileLasagna 19:13, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Hero Use

Do heroes use this skill properly in combat? I'm sure they tend to try to hold on to it for the entire duration of the spell rather than dropping it when it is needed to res people!!! --Stu 18:10, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Why in God's name would you want to use this kill in combat. lol, sorry, I just can't ever see this happening. -- euphoracle | talk 00:23, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
