How does he know so much about the prophecies? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:98.221.120.211 (talk).

He's a scribe, he probably read them in a library. -- Gordon Ecker 08:49, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Correction - he saw them in a vision - as stated in Pre-Searing. In the quest Unsettling Rumors Meerak says the following: I received a vision from Dwayna: She warned me that something dire is developing among the Charr. The city must be alerted! The letter most likely mentioned the events of the Searing *probably worded as the destruction of the Great Wall/Ascalon*. But of course, it came all too late. -- Azazel The Assassin\talk 03:51, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

He reminds me of those freaks that yell "The end is Nigh" in town centres! Canarygeorge 19:59, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

Maybe we should add that to Trivia! Just kidding :) Aiyana Sunshadow

What does he mean?[edit]

"Prepare for the coming of those whose departure caused the gods to weep! The time has come to atone for our arrogance!" Does he mean the Mursaat? Were they aligned with the Gods before becoming Gods themselves?--Bloodvayne 05:50, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

Abaddon and the Titans, perhaps? --User Ezekial Riddle silverbluesig.pngRIDDLE 05:58, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
But Abaddon wasn't a part of the prophecies, and the Titans are created in DoA, so they never "departed" :S --Bloodvayne 23:24, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
No but Door of Komalie = Wide Open Doorway into Realm of Torment. Plus Abaddon's subsequent release (or near release) just a couple of years after the events of Prophecies is something you can't ignore. If the Door of Komalie had stayed open, Abaddon would have had easy access to the mortal realm.
Note: Abaddon did have a falling out from the five gods, unlike the Mursaat. AFAIK, there is nothing to suggest an enmity or even a mutual knowledge between the Mursaat and the five gods. With Abaddon's falling out in mind, and with Titans being the first demons in the storyline you see, you wonder if Anet originally had a different idea for the relationship between Abaddon and the Titans.
Also Note: There are no "hard copies", if you will, of the Flameseeker Prophecies, so it's kind of hard to interpret something that is hidden away. --User Ezekial Riddle silverbluesig.pngRIDDLE 03:42, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
