Quest Glitch

I accepted the quest in Lion's Arch and sailed to Cantha, and talked to the deckhand who directed me to Mhenlo.

So I run up to where Mhenlo and the others are waiting an as soon as I talk to him my screens freezes and I'm back on the dock. I go back and Mhenlo and the other are fighting a plague victim, and then the conversation between the NPCs start and they all start to leave.

The problem is that my quest log says I still says I have to talk to Mhenlo. If I talk to him now he just gives me the generic NPC response, no quest update. So it's like the game thinks I accepted by my quest log didn't accept it. So I abandon the quest figuring I'd restart, no big deal. But now Sergio won't give me the quest.

Anyone know how I can reinitiate the quest?
