The inventory icon is intent for a template box for the different miniatures, or maybe something like the armor galleries on gwg... Just in case we actually want something like that. ~ dragon legacy 06:03, 18 February 2007 (PST)
- Those images look like the real ones, maybe we should get SS of them standing next to a character like these ~ Kurd

- I think this page would be easier to navigate if the icons of the minitures was shown next to the name. Often I find myself looking for a miniture but I don't know what its called. LeFick 19:06, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
Miniature Zippy...?
Who or what is a miniature "Zippy"? And why have I not heard of this thing?! >.< --Blobulator 01:30, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
- Greased Lightning got renamed by his owner -FireFox

- Ooooh... so it's the miniature Greased Lightning. Thanks for clearing that up. :) --Blobulator 01:45, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
Individual Pages?
Do we want individual pages for each miniature, ala Miniature Pig or are we just leaving the links to the real life creatures? I'm inclined to create individual pages for each miniature. --Indecision 03:15, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
- There seems to be a real lot of them. Maybe we can turn this page into something like the quick reference pages. ~ dragon legacy 07:18, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
- Someone beat me to it...I was just about to propose that each Pet has its own individual page. This would keep this page a lot clearer and more concise. As well as allowing for more information on each individual pet within their respective pages and talk pages. Lets not repeat the mess that is on the GuildWiki. --ChronicinabilitY

- I believe we should have separate pages for the sake of completion. Also this page should not just be a gallery of random pictures, it is starting to turn into a real mess. --Lemming64 22:07, 29 March 2007 (EDT)
- There should be no reason to have more than one picture on the page if there is going to be seperate pages for each minature. Maybe just one picture of any miniature standing next to to a character so people get the perspective. Thoughts? --- Ibiris 06:18, 31 March 2007 (EDT)
- I object having every miniature taken with a scaling dummy next to it. I would agree having one to get the idea of the scale and then have simply the miniatures for the actual articles. It's true, many look just like their "real" equivalents, but a lot have distinct features that differ. Take the miniature pig for example. It's definatly different from every other hog in game. ~ dragon legacy 00:05, 1 April 2007 (EDT)

If there are no objections I will shortly undertake a mission to create a separate article for each miniature. --Lemming64 07:30, 2 April 2007 (EDT)
- No objections. The pages look good. ~ dragon legacy 09:37, 3 April 2007 (EDT)
- Ditto. Plus, it isn't as though we don't have room for them all now :D
Fox (talk|contribs) 09:41, 3 April 2007 (EDT)
- Thanks dragon :) I don't think the issue on Gwiki was one of space. But it seems to make sense as there are so many miniatures now with different stories, having them all on separate pages seems like a good idea. Plus there may be more still for the 2nd year anniversary. --Lemming64 12:51, 3 April 2007 (EDT)

Next Birthday
Will we make a second chart for the 2nd birthday presents.I bring this up because next birthdays are coming on the 28th --EdgeBomber Image:Eoewarrior.JPG
- I'd say, we wait and see what happens and decide afterwards what to do about it. ~ dragon legacy 13:44, 13 April 2007 (EDT)
- As it stands Gaile herself has been careful not to confirm that the presents will be more miniatures, so let's wait and see :) --Lemming64 14:25, 13 April 2007 (EDT)
- I agree with holding off with the edit as well. If I remember correctly, Gaile mentioned, on the day miniatures were first introduced, that it was yet to be decided what the two-year-olds would recieve. This, in turn, hints at the idea that minatures were not their first choice. -- Curin Derwin 03:21, 15 April 2007 (EDT)
- I have heard rumors, please note I say rumors, of miniature Margonites.Morimoto 13:22, 23 April 2007 (EDT)
- It's official, folks. A second season of minipets is on the horizon. I've updated the article to add a second table where the second batch of minis will go (the link I've provided a few moments ago states characters turning 1 after the new season is released will still get a season 1 mini, and characters turning 2 will receive a season 2 mini). We may come up with a cool way to make one table out of both seasons so that both the rarity and season is listed, but for now two tables will do. Image:Esig2.jpg Eldin 21:50, 25 April 2007 (EDT)
- I think two tables is fine, also on my userspace I have a formatting template for use for articles for the new pets if anyone gets there before me. User:Lemming64/MiniFormatting --Lemming64 04:57, 26 April 2007 (EDT)

Birthday
My rit just turned 1 year and got a mini siege turtle, so I guess we can safely say that it's not depending on time in game, but the actual age of the charater. Thus we can maybe remove the note in the second birthday section? - Anja

regarding the birthday date
the game was officially released on the 28th, however some people had early access if you had a pre-order key hence some presents are available today on the 27th --Lemming64 12:23, 27 April 2007 (EDT)

Extra Promo Minis?
Someone added three extra promo minis to the page (Nika, Zhed, and Shiro'ken). Where are these obtained? I've heard nothing about them, nor can I find information anywhere... ~ Kailianna Firesoul 17:13, 30 April 2007 (EDT)
- They appear to be Japanese/Asia releases only. Links: GWOnline.net thread, Guild Wars Japan news item. Guess we'll have to wait for them to arrive via competitions over here. Still looking for the panda and co to arrive. --Indecision 17:23, 30 April 2007 (EDT)
- Ah, thanks! Too bad GW lacks the elements the Asian gamer population tend to look for in MMOGs - promos like this help, I guess, but I doubt they're really enough to keep the Asian market interested. ~ Kailianna Firesoul 17:41, 30 April 2007 (EDT)

- Because of the companies that sponser them. If you have a few spare millions floating around, feel free to make a proposal to ANet :P — Skuld 10:48, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
Gaile did say something yesterday in regards to ALL players being able to get ALL minipets one way or another... wether it is via a competition or whatever, she hinted at a new weekend coming up. This was all while she was running around dragon nest in shin jae Keirou 23:39, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- Well you ARE able to buy them all, hehe. If what they really plan on making an even where you can obtain all mini-pets ingame, a lot of people will lose a lot of money and be very pissed off I guess. --Xeeron 08:47, 8 May 2007 (EDT)
Minipet makes noise when monster is nearby?
I have a Jungle Troll that I summoned on a quest, and I noticed it growls whenever one or more monsters are nearby (a little outside the aggro bubble). Can anyone else confirm this, or was it just sheer coincidence on my part?
- Minipets used to make no sounds. It was changed in an update that they can be shown in towns, so it was removed that they do sounds in towns. Outsides they should make sounds everytime, so not every monster is able to make sound. My Fungal Wallow is a silent one ;-) - MSorglos 08:10, 8 May 2007 (EDT)
- Yes and yes fungals do own as greatest minipet ever :P, I heard minipets count as an extra ally for Leadership but unless it's only with trolls I doubt they have in-built censors. Quazark Zeklar

Auction Websites?
Does anyone know of a good auction websit to buy mini-pets from, GuildwarsGuru.com/auction is one, but it seems hard to use. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Freakishly Ugly God .
- No sorry, you could just try one of the main cities in game, a lot of people sell mini pets there. --Lemming64 15:53, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- i have found another its guildwars.gameamp.com its better but less stuff, and im only placeing these here because sometimes these sites alow you to buy pets at a lower price and give you a more direct look at what you want.--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Freakishly Ugly God .
Miniature totals
I was thinking, how about for the Asian miniatures we could add totals of how many there are ingame to each page. Someone has actually already added a total to the Miniature Island Guardian. And it makes sense because we have all the sources of where they came from and numbers of how many where given already on their pages. --
Wacked 1 13:17, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- Whilst the others don't have a total, they do have counts of how many came from each source. --Lemming64 18:14, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- Is it possible the number of Pandas, Island Guardians etc have increased with the duping bug? Some people might have duped them and traded them fairly to others, and A-Net might not have decided to delete the duped Panda because the other player got it "fairly". It is also possible, even likely, that someone traded a high end minature for duped items and the Minature was in the inventory of a player who was banned as a result of this. This would mean that minature is no longer in circulation. Dancing Gnome 09:57, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

okay so new miniature grawl... and once again aussies get shafted :(
- Precisely how are the "Aussies" more shafted by this that non-Aussies aren't? -
HeWhoIsPale 15:34, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
- Because ANet haven't done any events here in Australia, and Australia publicists dont get the American promo magazines. so thats 13 miniatures Australia will never get, yet Gaile has said there will be a means for ALL to obtain. Keirou
why dose not the grawl have a weapon it walks like it has one.... --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:75.165.124.61 .

Mini Devona
Is this picture real or another fake one? MageMontu 07:29, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- I'd say it's fake. Look at the chat, first of all, seems like a dev server or so. The district list says Ascalon City, but Devona isn't in Ascalon, she's in Lakeside County in pre. Apart from that, she's lvl 0 and has no name :P - anja
13:54, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
Its not a fake, it looks like a dev test server, and thus the mini-pet is not out yet and should not be recorded.--68.192.188.142 23:50, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- It does look like a dev server, true. But Anja is right there is something very suspicious about it. Also if you look at the map there are no green or red markers around meaning that there are no other NPCs or enemies around. Which is not true as there are some NPCs in that area including alot of warthogs. :P --Alien

In-Game Miniatures?
- → moved from User talk:Gaile Gray
Gaile, I love minis and you love minis, so between mini lovers, are there any mor plans of an in game mini that is acquirable in the same way as the Black Moa Chick?

- I think this is a great topic for a fan poll! I've been waiting for the web team to have the opportunity to finish up the website polling software and that was going to be the topic of one of my first polls, but if wiki members want to add their suggestions for minis on my page, that's great too! We had our last crop of minis earlier this year, for the birthday gifts, and I bet there are a lot that players would like to see in the game, including some of the new creatures in GW:EN. (Ultimately the decision will be made by Lead Designer James Phinney, but it would be cool to have suggestions to share.) --Gaile

estoldt 05:30, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- maybe 4 different in-game miniatures that are difficult to get, but are each campaign specific, like one from pre searing ascalon, one from NF, Factions, and eye of the north.

- What about a Mini Gaile Gray? -elviondale (tahlk) 20:43, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- A mini Gaile Gray would be sweet... IF it wore whatever she wore when she last logged out, so armor, a holiday hat, a cool bow... that would be sweet if they just took the mini koss and reskinned it with gaile, and had it update with whatever she wore... or the frog...Haha, umm, okay, here's what i can think up...
- Prophecies= Miniature Bunny
- Factions= Miniature Flesh Golem
- Nightfall= Miniature Junundu
- Eye of the North= Miniature Asuran G.O.L.E.M.
- (also with the help of my alliance, these were the most popular)

(reset indent)What are you saying like it gives a quest that you have to complete somewhat like the Black Moa Chick except not a cross-campaign scavenger hunt. --Hellbringer 22:23, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, almost exactly like that, something difficult and long, but in the end a cute little minipet! I'm hoping that this gets implemented...sometime.
estoldt 22:41, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
- I'm all for it! My suggestions/opinion on current suggestions:
- Prophecies = Miniature Bunny - great, but don't add it to pre-sear, because there are probably many people who don't have a slot for a pre-sear-character and would be left out. It's probably better to make the quest revolve around finding and rescuing a rabbit in post-sear.
- Factions = Miniature Flesh Golem - a very good idea. This would probably be the first summon to be turned into a Mini, so it'd definitely stand out against other creatures from Factions. Oh, and I can see a really crazy quest coming that would allow to have a mini Flesh Golem. It's a summon after all, so you'll need something to make it permanent ^^
- Nightfall = Miniature Lion/Lioness - We already got a mini that travels underground (the Mandragor), and I think Lions would fit great into the desert theme.
- Eye of the North = Miniature Fenrir/Kvelduf - I've definitely fallen in love with whoever created that creature. As a creature probably inspired by Norse mythology, it fits great into the theme of Eye of the North, and there's nothing as cool as a two-headed wolf!
- Okay, i totally Agree with your Eye of the north idea, Fenrir is a good plan. but i still think we should all put our heads together for a really good nightfall Mini.

- Prophecies= Miniature Bunny
- Factions= Miniature Flesh Golem
- Nightfall= Miniature Abaddon Parts
- Eye of the North= Miniature Kvelduf
- Hope to see these, but will probably turn to a fanpoll first.
estoldt 23:58, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
- A mini Flesh-Golem would be great, but the two minis I'd really like to see are a mini Grasp of Insanity (can't help but think they're cute even when they're ripping me apart) and a mini Graven Monolith. A mini Monolith would be great for Nightfall, considering the part they play in the plot, and it'd look fantastic having it follow you around using reform carvings once in a while. It'd be like a 3 in 1 special! --NieA7 08:48, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
- No suggestions for a Mini-Ooze? Blasphemy! Having one of those things rolling and jumping along behind you would be awesome... I can just see the quest for it too, you need to collect different types of Ooze for an Asuran experiment of some sort or something. Although Kvelduf's nifty too.
- Abbadon would be awesome, but perhaps having a mini-god following you around might be pushing it. What about guys like The Hunger? Or any one of those other big guys you only see in Nightfall. Ooh! Junuundu Wurm anyone? --

Bug needs checking
When you double click fast between mini pets or on the same one over and over (have to be in town) you can get "Lvl 1" or the "group of 8 symbol" or the "group of 4 symbol" to show above the mini pet. It maybe 10 times before it shows. It's easy to miss when the bug occurs. So if you see it try again and stop every now and again eventually it will happen.
- Well the fact that its a randomly occurring bug just means that by spam-whipping it out, you are more likely to see it occur. -elviondale (tahlk) 22:07, 4 September 2007 (UTC)

- That is very true and also crossed my mind when i saw the picture of Gwen dead on floor, I would have thought that she would have a crying emote like the other children ingame. The Panda also is a bit strange as players have alays asked for a pet panda and they have always said because of that exact reason. However pushing all this aside I am 99.9% sure that miniatures are supposed to die when hit by a boulder. --Alien

- Towns can only have a certain number of minis running around. Everyone would always have it switched on. Don't be lazy. Xitium 14:22, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
Table head colors
Ok, is there really a reason why it is necessary to remove the header colors? More importantly, is it necessary to have a revert war? LEAVE IT -elviondale (tahlk) 19:34, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- On my computer the headers seem to appear black, is this right? or is it just my comp? because it really does look ugly. :P --Alien

- Ok, well thats a different issue. If its not appearing as a gold-ish color, I suppose it can be changed... -elviondale (tahlk) 19:48, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- I put them there in the first place as they match the item infobox, and the page looked dull before. That was my only reasoning. --Lemming

- No No i'm not saying it was wrong of you to put them there at all. It just seems to be showing up incorrectly on my computer for some reason. I was just saying this because this could be the reason why people have been reverting it so much, because other users are maybe seeing it the same way it is appearing to me. It is especially anoying because the text is also black, so the headers simply appear to me just as a black box with no text... unless I highlight it ofcourse. ;) --Alien

- I've never been too big of a fan of 3-digit hex codes. 6 is the way to go. -elviondale (tahlk) 21:16, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- 3 will work if you use style, but not bgcolor=. 3 digits is better imo. :P - BeX
