Attack Speed[edit]

I've noticed when training up my Hero's Moas (White and Regular) that the lvl 3 and llvl 5 White Moa/Moa Birds, are attacking almost twice as fast as my level 17 Dire White Moa.

Could this be because its Dire? or is it supposed to be like that? Aerie swiftarrow 00:55, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Do your heroes have any skills that increase the pets attack speeds? — Eloc 18:27, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Moa eggs are used to obtain a Black Moa minipet. You need several other items like volcanic rocks, honey combs and other stuff to get 'em. If You have the egg in yoor bag and go to Mourning Veil Falls You can interact with a waterfall and it will turn the egg into a Hardened Moa Egg. --Monolito 10:15, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Pre-Searing Moa Bird[edit]

I've got a screen capture of a Moa Bird in pre-sear, so it must be somehow possible for them to level up or turn into Moa Birds. I was death leveling at the time. Anyone have any information on this? I've only seen it a couple times, and maybe it has been changed since then. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Andinabladestorm (talk).

Apparently this is a rather random thing. See Talk:Strider --snogratUser Snograt signature.png 05:56, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

I got one by taking a new secondary profession quest so I lost the charm animal skill, then going back to Nente, geting it, and leaving an outpost.

Can we merge this with Strider already?[edit]

I mean, come on. They're EXAСTLY the same. A string of text and how you acquire them doesn't mean there's a page for "Armbrace of Truth" and "Armbrace of Truth (duped)". Give me a break. Put it in the notes/title. They're the same thing and shouldn't have separate pages. FTLForTheLulz 17:53, 14 July 2011 (UTC)

Almost a year later and I notice that although the pages have been merged there is still a Talk:Strider. Merge those too? There's no logical way of getting to that page without a bit of digging. Orphans are sad :( --snogratUser Snograt signature.png 12:09, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

Pet Moa turning into a Strider in post-Searing[edit]

I captured a level 8 Moa Bird from Verdant Cascades, but by the time it reached level 11 it became a Playful Strider. I thought Striders were only meant to exist in Pre-Searing and would turn into Moas when brought to post and not the other way around? Here's a picture, along with proof it's not just a name set with the /petname command: Moa-strider-post-searing.jpeg Jeree95 (talk) 11:16, 26 March 2015 (UTC)

Have you tried adding it to menagerie to see what happens? --Falconeye (talk) 17:15, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
It's listed as a Moa, as expected. The same way it works when you bring a Strider from pre and add it to the menagerie. Jeree95 (talk) 17:18, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
Try asking Kimmes about the strider bug. --Falconeye (talk) 04:03, 27 March 2015 (UTC)
Meh. To be honest this doesn't really bother me, there are bigger issues in this game than this. Just posted it here in case someone feels like it'd be relevant enough to add to the page. Jeree95 (talk) 12:58, 27 March 2015 (UTC)
