Is this skill overpowered or underpowered?[edit]

clue's in the name really, i'm sayin' its under powered if you don't have a good dual attack, but if you have eider have vampiric assault of death blossom, it can get a bit out of hand|Killer demonMoebius Strike.jpg

Death Blossom is a very early skill for sale, so unless you are trying not to make a good build, or using DA, you should probably have several good duals by the time you can cap this skill. I don't think it's overpowered. Much of the functionality can be done with non-elite offhands, and while in PvE a pressure sin (which probably is its main strength - glass cannon) can have its merits, in PvP it's far less useful in most cases. Moebius Strike is raw power; most other sin elites are more sneaky, but can be far more devastating, especially in PvP. --Tenshi Samshel 14:56, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

Kurzick Door without being there before[edit]

Does the door really open if you have never been in the Kurzick side? Since when? I tried it and it said that I was not allowed to go there. MithranArkanere 13:04, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

I also spend 15 minutes of my life getting to that door... I will remove that line...(I rembered that you need to complete the last mission for that... -_-' --81.206.111.162 20:48, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
That's why people should no add rumours, only facts they prove themselves, XD. MithranArkanere 21:24, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
I did this with my Assassin shortly after the release of Factions, but I have been unable to ever do it again. I think it may have been changed at some point? Beta Sprite 18:45, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
I'll try to do it myself. I'm missing 3 Kurzick skills with my else, so I'll gather 10k, check this and then pick the skills. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 23:58, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Trivia[edit]

Moebius Strike (large).jpg

Really, really not seeing a moebius strip in there... Just looks swirly to me. Misery 16:15, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

I dont see it either. Maybe thats the first thing google brought up so it has to be true. User DrogoBoffin sig icon.png Drogo Boffin 16:20, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
"The name of the skill is a reference to a mathematical concept, as hinted at by the possibility of "endless" attack chains." Although there is a sideways 8 in the image, it does not look like a moebius strip. Vili 点 User talk:Vili 16:36, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
I don't see it either, I was just cleaning up the other edits. -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 17:19, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
The two holes in the smoke kinda look like it could be a moebius loop. Kinda abstract to say that it's hinting at anything. -~=Sparky User Sparky, the Tainted charr sig.PNG (talk) 17:53, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
Well, I had to change how it was, since it said "which you can see the", when not everyone sees it, to something less definite. You can change it to something even less specific, like 'may be hinted' or something like that if you want. Or even remove it at all. It looks a little like a ∞ to me. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 13:37, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
But the infinity symbol isn't a moebius strip... I'm just going to remove it. Misery 13:54, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
Actually, a flat Moebius strip is usually represented as an infinity symbol. Just goole "flat moebius strip" in google imagenes to see some examples. I've just tried with a paper strip, and all you have to do is twist it, and you get an infinity symbol. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 14:15, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
Random fact: the sideways figure eight is a symbol in Japanese language; 'Mu'. It is often associated with 'infinity' or 'long life'.99.241.34.49 02:17, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
I don't think it even is a sideways figure eight... If you look near the top, you can see that it tapers a little. Also, the smoke seems to be thicker near the top. I think it may be a downward spiral instead of a figure eight. It was probably just put in for fun, just like the tattoos on the guy's arm. 76.216.213.203 01:11, 31 March 2010 (UTC)
Its a nice looking icon either way :P Spotina Talk 22:18, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
The sideways eight is there. The smoke effect is just not perfect cause its smoke... The symbol is slightly imperfect because the sweep of the blades downwards is overlapping the moebius symbol. If you look too hard at something you can become infatuated with the imperfections and miss the obvious.--Neithan DiniemUser Talk:Neithan Diniem 03:43, 26 June 2010 (UTC)

Which comes first[edit]

I think you should include in the article whether it checks for 50% health before or after it does damage.--Bold Baby Undies 22:17, 24 June 2010 (UTC)

After, I just tested it. Spotina Talk 22:25, 24 June 2010 (UTC)

Deadly Arts > Dagger Mastery[edit]

I seriously hope you guys don't do this. Do not be a shitty dagger sin. I used to be one, I'd keep needlessly spamming the monk as they kept ignoring me with the simplest block and blind skills. Deadly Arts sins are far superior in both PvE and PvP and actually gets the job done. Pressuring just annoys your foes compared to actually killing your target. Assassin's Promise + deadly arts is the best Knock-Out build a sin can have.

I hope this two year old comment was just a troll. Sure it's great for PvP and okay as a caller with AP, but for a primary sin in general PvE, dps is the way to go, and they do that best by dagger spamming. As for blind/block, any half decent bar/team should be able to deal with the limited amount you deal in PvE98.237.80.68
