Talk:Morale Boost

Question: What exactly does morale affect in terms of stacked modifiers? As in your class armor bonus energy (+5 for Rangers, +10 for casters), insignias (Radiant or Survivor), runes (Attunement, Vigor, Vitae), and weapon bonuses (+30hp, +45hp while enchanted, +15 energy, etc)? Runes and weapon bonuses seem to remain unaffected, as evident by the ability to have 1hp or gaining the full health of a "+hp while enchanted" weapon mod. -- Hercanic 13:38, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Energy Storage is the only modifier that isn't ignored. --24.179.151.252 16:08, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Why would it change armor? Dark Morphon(contribs) 14:25, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

GvG[edit]

The morale boost you gain in GvG from holding a flag stand, it says that the Guild Lord gain +300 hp. Is this for every time the morale boost is triggered, or just once? (Kendil 19:50, 24 February 2009 (UTC))

Energy Boost[edit]

My normal energy is 60 and when I got 10% morale it only says 62? I thought 10% of 60 is 6 so it should be 66 or am I missing something here?--0gion 23:23, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

It is on your base energy/health, before bonuses from armor/weapons. Everyone's base energy is 20, 10% of which is 2.--Lensor (talk) 23:44, 21 January 2010 (UTC)

Definition of "base" energy and health[edit]

Due to some common confusion about this boost, I've added an additional piece of information to the Definition section, clarifying what exactly this boost applies to, that being "base" energy and health. Weapon sets and armor upgrades are ignored. - a la VivienneRunestone Elementalist-tango-icon-20.png 05:49, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

Allied bosses[edit]

Since the deaths of allied bosses in certain places (e.g. Kodonur Crossroads' Centaur ranger boss) give your own party a morale boost (as opposed to the party that killed the boss, i.e. the enemy), I just sarted wondering, that every time you kill an enemy boss, does the rest of the enemy group gain a morale boost? They're allies after all, and the monsters can gain DP the way you do, so why not Morale Boosts...? Does this mean that Morale Boosts go to every creature near the dying boss, or just the player party, regardless or who killed a boss, and who the boss was allied to?
